Statue Which Maquettes should be made next?

I SOOOOOOOOO hope this gets the green-light eventually...surely enough people want a Boromir PF? Come on SS!!

I read somewhere that his chain-mail would be a problem...but I am sure they could figure a way around it.Somebody mentioned in another post that they could include it as part of the sculpt...I thought that was quite a good idea

The slow trickle of news regarding this line is quite frustrating! Do we have ANY idea when something new will be released, or at the very least, teased? Come on Sideshow!

At this point, not sure if we'll get anything before Comic Con. I kind of expect a Lurtz maquette prototype to be on display there. Maybe 1 other surprise, like the rumored Saruman PF. Potentially a launch set of Hobbit prototypes to kick that line off. Could be wrong, but I don't expect much to hit the newsletter between now and then.

I don't know. I expect to see something before then in all three lines LOTR PF/Maquette and The Hobbit.

I fully agree to this. Boromir is great but I would really welcome Lurtz for now as I missed PF Lurtz and current price om secondary market is too high.

When Sideshow will provide us with a new preorder?, from the Comic Con last year we see nothing new.

It's frustrating lack of communication and news from Sideshow in this line.

Couldn't agree more Gangrel. They usually say no news is good news, but in this case, the lack of any updates whatsoever is becoming unnerving. Would it be too much to ask to show us some sketches or even just a few Ask Sideshow answers concerning this line?

I've never understood the lack of communication from Sideshow, Weta however say specific things but not at least have the peace of mind that are still doing things in line 1/6 of the Hobbit.

Weta Collectibles is much more communicative with collectors of Middle Earth and ask opinion to collectors and this is appreciated.

Sideshow from Comic Con of 2012 we know absolutely nothing, that if delays in figures

I hope this is reflected in quality finishes that Weta have shown that it is possible, 6 or 7 figures Weta has released its line of Hobbit and great finishes in all, what you see in the prototype is what we deliver to customer.

The difference between this year and the last year is that now we have items from WETA, UC, LEGO,..., and I don't have money to buy all the things I want.
If SS doesn't want my money, I've got a lot of items to spend it.
By the way, I've read that at the end of the new Hobbit Chronicles book there's an spoil of a new statue...but I don't know if it's true or not and what statue is...I'll know on Tuesday, when I receive my book (from Amazon)

It is very frustrating that they do not share any information Sideshow. Cost nothing show some possible projects sketch or maquette line.
