Maybe they had alot of Sub cancellations after the best of the early 2013 lineup is out now (Ram Man,Jitsu,Fangman,Snakeface,King He-Man).....Ram Man and Jitsu was key in selling the 2013 sub to begin with.

the only remaining figures revealed so far that excites me some are Clamp Champ and Mantenna....hopefully the rumors of the rest of lineup may help some too.

Toyguru-That remains to be seen. Likely additional figures this year will not have day of quota. We don't have details to post yet. Stay tuned.


this indicates to me that we are going to subscription only in '14 and perhaps this new 'resub back up' is to make up for the cancellations after King He-Man was shipped...

there is alot of complaint about getting karrati and fighting foe men in May and paying the high price for unwanted characters

Because I only want two or three figures a year and don't want the hassle of being forced to become a retailer (reselling figures on eBay) just to be able to buy those two or three figures a year.

The only figures I wanted this year where whatever Horde guys they did.

I'd be surprised if Mantenna didn't have DOS availability. Octavia is shakier.

I just cannot fathom why the Fighting Foe Men are being made. It's really a 3 pack of nobodies. They might as well have made a Royal Court 3 pack featuring 3 guys shown standing in the background of the palace for a second in the cartoon. Couldn't they have pulled something better out of their ***?

Mattel was stupid to put Jitsu and Ram Man in February. They should have shown them at SDCC but had them scheduled for the second half of 2013. I'm sure they lost a TON of dishonest subscribers who got the "valuable" figures then cancelled their credit cards.

they were asked for, maybe not by you but people did ask for them to be made hell the wind raider pilot was still being asked for, which if they didnt listen to fans in the first place who knows they might not of been any NA or PoP in the line.

when you sub up arent you under contract? anyways matty should banned members under a cancel user house address from resubing next year or atleast something , cause it's only going to make figures go up in price when people cancel midway through the sub.

I think they're cool but given Mattel's stance on no more vehicles, what sense does it make to have drivers that don't have anything to drive?


As for reopened subs... I'm fascinated by the logistics of this.

-If they need folks to pickup a fixed amount of subs that have been dropped over the year, they would also need to cut off subs as soon as that amount was filled.

-If it is truly open ended, how the hell did they manage to do that? Was the Filmation sub an indication that all they need know is a 2-4 month window?

They just want to avoid DOS obviously...
They now have pretty accurate production numbers, so I'm guessing they have the new subs covered plus c.s. stock. They are just hoping people commit themselves to all the remaining figures.
Don't be surprised if heavy hitters like Octavia or Mantenna aren't available DOS...

then tough it out, i mean octavia and mantenna i could live without but i kinda collect them all and figures i grow bored of i custom , personal octavia should have no DOS seeing how she is given alot of weapons when other females only get a wand at best besides a shield, and mantenna and he's newly tooled taking money from other figures that could of had more weapon/ heads to even the cost out the cost throughout the line.
