Honestly no. I love the figure but the leaking issue makes it worthless. I will keep him as he is and I already have the DCD lying here as a later replacement. It would have been one of my alltime favorites...

Good lord!!! That was done by Yulli? I know she's one of the best in her field but that silly grin killed the whole figure. He's grinnning like the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland! They should have at least given alternating headsculpts with a better expression. It doesn't look anything like Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Maybe they could revisit this figure again like certain others? Not likely since its not a Iron Man/Predator fan favorite.

Had him boxed and pulled him out today, slight bit more warping but nothing extreme. Definitely more oil but I domt think it was from the rubber suit but rather the body actually especially around the shoulders and neck. I wonder if the body was what was screwy all along and not the rubber suit?i undressed wolverine to see if he was leaking amd he's as minty as the day I got him.

I took a careful look at my Comedian yesterday and I noticed a bit of the oil on his arms and neck, away from the harness and armour too. There was some on the rubber armour as well and it has started to stretch and deform under the arms, making it look a bit baggy on him.

Wow kinda a crappy figure. Really confused why Hot Toys started with this figure. I wish they started out with Rorschach and Nite Owl or even Silk Spectre and Doctor Manhattan. I think it motivates collectors when they know there will be 2 figures to display together rather than one lonely figure of a character that was killed in the first 5 minutes. It's like Hot Toys was trying to sabotage this license.

Don't know how Hot Toys would ever do a Doctor Manhattan figure though. It would be awkward having a naked blue dude on your shelf.

I think the sculpt is a damn good one. Would have liked to get the figure buy too many problems. Did that custom suit thing are the light of day?

Glad you all enjoy it. I guess I'm just not impressed with the choice of character and outfit. I would even prefer Comedian as an old man in his house coat and then make an Ozymandias figure and pose Comedian getting his a** kicked lol. That was one of the best scenes in the movie. Instead we get Comedian when he was shooting down civilians at a riot. Anyways everyone I talked to agrees Rorschach was the best part about that movie. Why didn't they lead with him?

Hi, Guys. If you're like me and missed out on the Hot Toys Comedian when they were first offered in 2009 (still kicking myself), you either had to go with the (not so great) DC Direct version, or just pass all together. I always thought you could Frankenstein the DC Direct version into a usable figure, so I gave it a whirl.

The only HT part on the figure is the head, which I picked up for 35.00. The rest is 90% DC Direct, a HT knock off body and Very Hot gloves and TTL boots.

All told, he cost me about 95.00. Much cheaper than the cheapest HT Comedian figure available now. They range from about 250.00 to 850.00!

Just some cutting of the armor and straps and some glue and scraps of leather. He's just about done, just needs some touch up paint.

Plus, no leaking. I heard that was a problem with some of the HT versions.

I still love this figure. I like many others would have preferred a young Comedian headsculpt as a bonus. But I love it as it is. The fact that we didn't get Rorschach or Night Owl is a real shame.
