I really liked this. The only thing it was lacking was a some of the acting, and the rushed conclusion.
The two leads were great though.

Argo: 8.5/10
Solid filmmaking. Poor Ben was robbed of a best director nomination. Not being nominated suggests that the Guild felt that the success of the movie was independent of the director--that anyone else could have directed the movie and it would have come out just as good. I wholeheartedly disagree. The mood and tone Ben set, his attention to detail, all of his choices (like using actual footage of the event, etc.,) all contributed to how well crafted the movie was.
I'm very happy for Ben that he has found success and acclaim for his filmmaking. I think his style is intelligent and brave, and he allows the story to come first. All three of his movies so far have been solid films. I can't really find much fault in any of them. Even Spielberg can be criticized for being too maudlin or sentimental in at least one scene in 90% of his movies. Tarantino can be criticized for being too indulgent in the dialogue. But Ben has been able to simply be a good story teller. I'm so glad he won for best picture.

An awesome inside look at UFCs Middleweight Champion right around the time he was going to face Chael Sonnen for the first time. Really was good to see how he trained and how his personal life is affected by all the publicity and everything that comes with being a champion. If your not an MMA fan, then I dont know but im a huge MMA fan so yeah I gave it a 10. It was awesome

But yeah I agree with you. The late 70's early 80's Oilers were loaded with new talent. It still took them 5 years to win their first cup. Man I miss the hell outta those days

Dark Skies - 5.5/10 - Early on was creepy but just kinda went on to long and the "twist" wasn't needed.
Sons of Anarchy: Season 4 - 8/10 - A good step up form the meh 3.
Long Weekend (1978) - 6/10 - Nature gone wild!!! Dragged a bit but was alright.
Skyfall - 7/10
Finally caught this, it was pretty good but not the second coming. CR was better imo.
