Modern Thor Premium Format?

I'd be suprised if this version of thor comes out as this outfit has been retired in the comics

I'd like a PF in the outfit he wears now in the Comics.

Both Thor and Cap could use a NEW comic PF. As for the whole THOR Universe that was show... SSC isn't Bowen... So I would expect all of them.

The current ones are awesome as is and I'd much rather they get other characters completed before revisiting previous ones. For now if you want an awesome cap or thor, pony up the cash. I've had to for some pieces I really wanted. It's the name of thhe game.

See, but it isn't necessarily about what YOU or I want either. It is FAR more about what will SELL for SSC. A Modern Thor and a new Cap, maybe in more of an action pose, would SELL HUGE for them. Also, don't forget DC has their BIGGEST characters coming out. Marvel is NOT going to want to be on the sidelines RELEASING a series of BACK BENCH characters like Beta Ray Bill, Sif, and Valkary. We have already seen a new Spiderman, and now a Thor concept. I have a feeling we will See more of the Marvel BIG GUNS and soon.

I know that isn't what some guys MIGHT want, but it doesn't matter if therer are Thor PFs in the after market or not; or even how much they go for. Not to SSC. They don't make money that way. The only way they make money is to make and sell new statues, and I am sure Marvel is going to tell them to take off the gloves here. They aren't going to let DC be the kings of the playground with out bringing their best characters.

SS would be crazy not to produce the big names like Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor etc. There worth to much money to them & also there going to help sell the other lesser known Marvel characters. Like who would collect characters from the Thor universe without a Thor?

There are 2 Thor PFs.... for all we know this could be a 1/5 or 1/2 scale

Bowen throws in EVERY character and the kitchen sink, and they don't all sell well or hold their value. I full admit they do more characters, but not EVERYBODY wants those characters.

In the end SSC has figured out that certain characters just SELL. Three Hulk Coms and 2 PFs, sold. Three Spiderman Coms and 2 PFs, sold. Two Thor PFs, sold. Hell people thought the Grey Hulk Com wouldn't sell and 500 flew out the door in less then a day. Now of course less know characters like Skaar can be master pieces and successful, but the major successes are the big characters.

In the end m8 I don't disagree with you wanting other characters, but you have to understand why some of the rest of us want the classics in a new form as well.

I love the thor's realm in comics and follow just about every storyline from it. I buy all characters in small scale that I can, but for 1/4 scale I want more versions of Thor and would only consider Odin in the same. I would consider another dio, I do have the first one and love it.

I can't see it happening. It would look weird having a fully sculpted Doom while all the other PF's are mixed media.

I totally agree. And seems that this fully sculpted line of Marvel classics, in 1/4 scale, is way, way overdue. Don't even get me started on the prematurely abandoned VS line. But, when they do come, we will be humbled.

SS get cracking/cranking out these obvious, sought after, masterworks, with hopefully the master skills of Canale/Viggiano doing us the honors. A recipe which can't fail anyone.

I highly doubt they'll make Thor fully sculpted in 1/4. Unless its a Comiquette which would be 1/5 as apparently Rhino will be there last 1/4 Comiquette.
