Well from a distance anything can look perfect... The first hot toys joker looks great from 6 feet away lol.

That being said things often look better in hand and remember guys we see these pics often times blown up a million percent, I'm not expecting it to be as good as the prototype but I'm sure it will still be decent.

The only thing that is really bugging me is the eyes which basically changed the whole expression. The skin pigment is annoying too but if you search around you’ll see that there are some stills that have the exact flush skin tone as the proto, and then he’s very pale in other stills. FRIGIN’ LIGHTING :gah:

We started off with tough looking, intense Carlito

And ended up with googley over Gale Carlito

The paint definitely softened him up

looks the same to me. the dramatic lighting on the prototype is the only difference.

it looks like dead-on al pacino in all his tough-looking intense googleyness.

win!

To me this looks pretty great. And I'm sure it will look great in hand - I mean c'mon it's Carlito Brigante!

Rewatched this movie again tonight. Certainly stands the test of time. I'd forgotten what a sad movie it is though. :(

It definitely stands the test. To me it's a classic; timeless. One of my all-time faves. In a ways I fell it's a more powerful flick than Scarface. And yea... definitely sad

Of course I'm getting it too. Everyone, pay no mind to my complaining. The fig looks great and it's a must get. It’s just not as RIDICOULOUSLY off the charts as the proto was. Any way you slice it, we're getting Charlie Brigante!!!! :rock

I stand also by my complaints and its not hat I'm not excited or grateful it's being made its just that its lesser than I was expecting, maybe a couple paint tweaks of my own will help. The beard bothers me.

I really like Carlitos way, I enjoy scarface more and let's not even get I to the godfather because there is no parallel there but I like movies like serpico and dog day a lot better than Carlitos Way but I would not want figures of those characters, there might be one or two I'm slipping on but as far as Pacino goes if he finally comes around to Corleone with scarface and Carlito you can cross Pacino off the list of grails.

I don't know how the hell blitz way made this happen and it's no small feat, I think people sort of take it for granted but do you know how notoriously insanely impossible it is to get Pacino to agree to do any kind of merchandise whatsoever? Scarface is different he ****ed up and sold his likeness rights to the studio.

I don't know how the hell this Carlito figure happened.

my only complaint, and its minor, is the paint on the back/side of the head appears to be very heavy, but thats really it...i understand that the proto's paint was better, or maybe it was just PS'd a bit. either way i will say this the HS is awesome, much more realistic compared to their Scarface, which i own, and the paint apps are a helluva lot better than SF's. also thank you BW for not using stupid plastic and going to foam. Nick Fury, and my Chris Evans HS had shiny spots on them from the stupid plastic HT's uses to keep the figure in place...add those HS's up and it was pretty expensive to replace (my ocd pings at shiny spots).

I know this has happened to all of my recent ht figures, snake, red skull, dx12 and Gordon

That sucks...come to think of it my BW TF has it, but I'm nuts over the sculpt so I just left it and its way to much money on eBay, and my Supes had it and I had to replace it. We're you able to fix or replace any of them?

I'm surprised your dx12 had it, maybe my plastic rubbing theory is wrong.

Yup actually both of my dx heads had it Bruce and batman. Most of the time it's just a shiny spot. Sometimes it's a paint rub, that pisses me off like no other, when its just the tip of the nose shiny unusually fix it myself. Is it bull**** I have to do it? Yeah but 15 seconds of fixing it is way better than shipping the thing back to Asia and waiting a month to hopefully get a better one,

I just mask the whole head lightly without putting too much pressure with masking tape all except the tip of the nose leaving only that exposed, then I just spray two light mist coats of testers spray on dull coat after shaking the can well. It dries within seconds and its perfect every time.

Totally annoying but I'm used to it by now.
