Re: Darth Vader (Mythos) Statue

It wasn't really a "story" though, was it? More like a short blog post by Vader. :lol

Re: Darth Vader (Mythos) Statue

:lecture Right and I could care less about this. If only Sideshow would put more time into perfecting the paint app, no one would care about some story.

You are underestimating the power of story Cent. I for one am allured to this Mythos line because of the moments in time story. Otherwise, these simply become another Star Wars product. I know I am not the only one with this thought, especially checking on other forums.

Re: Darth Vader (Mythos) Statue

Whether people admit it or not, the story will be a big selling point of this line. Instead of just looking at Kenobi or Fett, the collector will think of that particular story and how that is the only piece available for that character for that period of time.

Re: Darth Vader (Mythos) Statue

I'm not big on the base. What's he doing on that little rock? Should be more of a ledge than a small rock surrounded by lava. He jumped across on he rock and took his mask off? Change it!

Great piece other than that. Really digging the interchangeable heads.

Well opened mine. Portrait with open mouth has paint chips on back of head. Hand holding sabre has metallic paint scratches on it. Is this normal. The force push palm and hand holding staff is clean and scratch free.
Apart from that he's nice and menacing.

Same as mine I've contacted sideshow for replacements I'd rather do this than a full replacement as the rest is ok

Thanks mate for the replt. If it's the same as yours bicrod would thisbe the norm? Any other collectors have clean scratch free sabre hands to confirm.

Some people's have turned up all ok but theres a few people on here now that are starting to see issues with them . I wouldn't say it's the norm though bud

Any one else notice that the light sabre is holding in the final product is a lot straighter compared to the prototype ?

Already taken pics. Will send them to sideshow tonight.
Besides this. The mythos line is off to a great start, much like the lotr 1/5 scale maquettes.

Received mine yesterday without any issues and I'm really happy with it. I hope all of the pieces in this line will come with the artwork COAs because I'd like to get them framed and display them above the statues.

Here's a size comparison pic with the Gentle Giant Maul.

The artwork COA definitely was a nice surprise. I have to think all the others in this line will have them as well. I got my fingers crossed that is for sure.
