They showed Han in Carboite over 2 years ago and it's not ready yet. It's ok, as much as I'm sure it'll cost, I can wait.

They showed Han in Carbonite over a year ago and we don't even have that up for pre-order yet.

I'm really hoping that Boba Fett and Vader aren't just "vaporware" like the Alien Queen with Egg Diorama and a few other pieces that are sneaked and then disappear.

This could be a long wait guys . . . I'm talking years before the preorder even comes up . . .

Hope I'm wrong though.

I hope you're right! Maybe I could afford Fett!

I'd rather have a 1/6 Vader, since I already have a 1/1 scale ROTJ Vader...me!:lol

I'm actually starting a little savings fund for the SS one but if it ends up being what I feel is "too costly", custom is the way I'm going. Which is also why I'm glad they're going with ESB Fett since I'm just about finished building an ROTJ SE one:yess:

Supposedly this thing is going to be on pre-order "soon." Don't know what that means but I'm thinking before the year we are going to see it up.

Which is baffling why the delay on Han in Carbonite?

Also don't understand the insane prices thrown around here.

Sideshow knows their market and what they can charge to maximize profit.

No 1:1 of any type has crossed the 6k barrier.

At the end of the day this is a PRODUCTION piece.

All of these lifesizes are going to be about 6k and you can probably get it for 10 percent off at retailers if you look hard enough.

Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination for what is essentially a big "toy" but affordable for many if you sell things to raise funds and save a little. How many people have the SPACE is another matter entirely.

All very good points, especially in regards to space. It's like a whole person now living with you in your home. Do you have to feed it too? :D

I guess this pic never made it into the thread yet.

A little futz of the inner robe and it should be perfect. I know Prowse was a body builder but the only time I ever saw Vader with huge pecs were the 90's POTF figures:lol

Would love to own this Vader 1:1 piece and until they release a ball point figure of how much it will cost then i can still dream of one day having him in my collection...now where's my piggy bank?! :thud:

Will it have FLEXIPAY? I was thinking maybe $1600 a month for 10 months? :dunno

I just caught a glimpse of the lifesize 1:1 Darth Malgus and that costs in the region of $5999 so if thats anywhere near the price for the Vader 1:1 then hell.....IM IN! :yess:

A question for Gino... will the fabric parts be removable for cleaning?

If not, I suggest this as something that is essential.

I was under the impression that this and the Fett suits will not be removable from the mannequin underneath since it's a legal thing that these aren't able to be used as "costumes" which unfortunately means, there's no way to remove them without damaging it.

im all over it only if they change one thing, add some pointy nipples.
