Hot Toys - DX13 - T2: T-800 (Battle-Damaged Version) 1/6-scale Collectible Figure

This is definitely the piece I'm most excited for next year. If the endo eye really does move, that's just too ****ing cool, screen accuracy be damned.

This figure came out of nowhere and took away almost all my excitement for the other 6 HT figures I have preordered for next year,which were all the Avengers, DX02 Joker,City Hunter 2.0,which all are excellent in their own rights. 2013 FIGURE OF THE YEAR PERIOD.

The thing I notice is the normal undamaged eye pers looks better than the dx10, the eye is smaller and there no gap at the corner as well as the eye lids are not as thick, if this was done on the dx10 that figure would be perfection, its great as is but it would have been that much better.

After EB released their 1:4 BD T2, it wouldnt surprise me if HT goes back and re-tools the headsculpts to look closer to that one now. Either way Im sure HT will tweak it.

Huh? I think it's a great likeness. The battle damage, a few of the mechanical details, and the color of the "metal" need to be tweaked, but it sure looks like Arnold to me.

I'm willing to bet the eyes of the final DX10 proto looked like that but suffered from the effects of mass production.

Yeah you have to remember you're looking at the prototype there. I think the PERS on the final figure we all receive won't look quite as refined as that.

With Hot Toys getting ready to put out a 1/4 scale don't look for it any time soon, I don't think they would want to hurt it's sales.

while on promo photos it looked in a different direction.
so the robo eye is PERS after all.

p.s. why don't they fix the damn cheek meat shape.
all in all the damaged part looks like a glued haloween mask piece.
i totally do not need / want / like enterbay figures, but this head loses everything to it.

Woooh, while the bd on the dx13 may not be perfect it certainly don't look like a cute farm pig, just as much as your customs don't, there really pretty good. Lets not get outta hand here guys, I've been seeing alot of off the wall comment on this figure, like it looks like justin beaber and what not, non of which are warrented, just said to ruffle feathers I think.

This is a prototype of an awesome figure, not perfect but certianly a must own, and if the dx10 was any example this will be touched up for the better. Now go outside and play like good little kids and stop worrying about your toys

As much as i love the Enterbay sculpt i am passing on that figure and sticking with the DX13 since 1/6 is my primary focus and not a pain to display plus Enterbay quality is kinda rough where Hot Toys is a much more polished product in all areas.

DX13 has everything i wanted in a BD T-800 figure from T2 where the Enterbay is lacking in accessories that cater to a figure i don't own or care to own.
