Begins for me. Best origin movie. Best suit. Best batmobile. Best balance of realistic and fantasy. Best Neeson.

Batman Begins for me. I don't think his origin story couldve been done any better.

Yeah, I think Frank Miller agreed when he, um, wrote it the first time :monkey3

I kid. Begins was only about 50% Batman: Year One.

I would have liked to have seen Bruce's first night out as a vigilante (not just visiting Gordon) where he gets stabbed by a pimp and prostitutes. Then he goes back home, bleeding and near death and is inspired when the bat crashes through the window. It seems more operatic and cinematic. Mask of the Phantasm's origin is pretty good too, though I hate the idea that he pursues a life of fighting crime because the chick, Andrea didn't marry him.

Not sure how I feel about the "Man who falls" arc where they had a young Bruce who was frightened by bats just days before his parents were murdered (or in Batman Begins, the day before) from falling into a cave. I know Batman Forever utilized that story as well. I don't really like that too much.

Batman Begins.
Nothing moves me quite as emotionally as the "It's what I do that defines me." moment. The entire movie was just a build up to that one line. Truly awesome.
None of the other movies were quite as impactful on my psyche.

For me it's the "And you'll never have to" line at the end with Gordon. One of the best ever endings to a movie that leaves you wanting more.
