The Thanksgiving holiday is rapidly approaching, and it's riding with Black Friday in tow. Now might be a good time to start posting some of the deals that are on the way. I'll continue to update the first post with deals.

Then you should go ahead and get one now. I doubt the discount on Black Friday will be worth all the work involved.

And while everyone is out fighting for cheap crap, you could be at home watching football.

Nothing worth going out for in the ads so far. I might order Assassin's Creed 3 at Best Buy and pick it up when the crowds are gone, but that's about it so far.

I avoid stores at all costs after Thanksgiving.

That's when all the ass holes are out.

Yeah. But something about it is really interesting. Maybe it's the idea of being in a store at 2 in the morning. But something is insanely interesting about the entire ordeal.

I have no intention of fighting people, so i'm going after little items.

I agree with that mentality, but not to that extreme. Despite doing 95% of my shopping online, I still like to go to the mall once a year during Christmastime. I like being amidst the chaos and crowds, at least for a little while. Then the novelty wears off, and I'm glad I don't have to do this any more than I choose to.

I guess SS will have a Christmas event? So after this last yearly event I'm a super veteran for sure! Been through the every year events all through out my first full year! I will be known as veteran comicbookguy!

yeah I stopped buying things at the mall years ago, the only thing I buy in stores now are toys, toys and clothes sometimes.

No kidding, I thought it was just me.

There's something unnaturally fast about time, the months are just flying by. I've been saying this for years now, but this year in particular has really gone quick.

I've noticed others mentioning it here and there too.
