Wow dude, really? Thats some pretty heavy instigation. Besides, that debate was argued to the point of exhuastion...no point in bringing it up again.

I actually agree with you, that debate was pretty tiresome, my bad for responding *again* to his latest post contradicting himself about the nose length.

Maglor, you should definitely consider modding the dx02 faceplates...especially the talking and neutral ones. UPDATE: I modded the neutral face and once again, yulli nailed it then. Granted you still have to make the upper back portions on both sit in more to lessen the beak effect and smirk, respectively. But without a doubt, they look great and IMO improves the dx12.

I will provide pics soon, I don't have a digi cam, just an iPad, so it's gonna take me a couple steps to take pics of it, upload to my laptop, upload to photobucket, then finally here.

Anyway, I'm glad I took the step and sanded the dx02 mouth plates. I was afraid I was gonna mess up and ruin them, but the sanding process, while a bit annoying, was worth the effort.

Like I mentioned before, I think for the dx12 neutral mouth, to lessen the smirk effect, I think you just need to make the top half sit in more...but in the end, kojun was trying to sculpt his neutral face from those promo shots, but ended up going a bit too far and thus, left us with a smirking batman.

Could you please post pics? I really wanna do this, but am scared.

The dx02 open mouth face plate is my favourite of the lot they've done, out of the dx02, dx12 and the bat suit begins version. Really wanna see how it'd look on the dx12. Is it easy enough to mod?

I really wanna do it, but am worried it will look strange. The DX02 face is larger than the DX12 face and I don't want it to look like he has this huge, out of scale mouth.

Yes it does. However the bale head does not. Need a new neck joint...

At least he fits on the bat pod and in the tumbler without issue, which is why Im glad I never sold him

I know, hoping he posts some pics soon as I'm really interested in seeing it. If it works and looks good I'd definitely consider trying to track down the face plate. Not really keen on what I've seen so far of the dx12's although I'll reserve judgement until I have the figure in hand. I just think that an open mouthed sculpt is essential for bale's batman. Seems stupid to not include one really.

Yeah, something about it looks kind of off, but I'm guessing that's just the fact it's made for a different sized head sculpt. The last pic looks really good though I think.
