Daryl from series 1 is going for over $150 on eBay!! That's insane!

Damn. Make me almost wish I had picked up Daryl when I first saw him but I couldn't bring myself to pay $15 for how sloppy the figure looked.

same here. they were at 20 here at TRU, I Saw them and they made me laugh my azz off because of how awful they looked, I couldn't believe how retarded they looked, how awful they were.

then Online I saw reviews of people hating them, I never thought these things would sell.

then they were on clearance in the same store some weeks later,

Yeah the series 1 figures were laughably bad. The paint on every series 1 figure I saw was awful. Sad too cause the sculpts look to be pretty good but the poor paint really kills the figures.

God if only Neca would save us from this McFarlane TWD hell. I really, really, really do not like Todd at all. How could he let such an insanely good license translate into these horrible figures. Someone REALLY dropped the ball. How could anyone let these figures be as bad as they are? This is 2012, these are 5-6" figures for damn near $20 a pop?

Something really ****ty about these figures (one of many) is the ball joints that are exposed. You think they'd at least try to hide them with the paint job. Nope. That and the figures are sculpted in a very specific pose, THEN the articulation was added. What a **** up Todd is nowadays...

But regardless....the new ones are OK.

I paid 28 bucks for 2, which considering TRU prices, it worked out. They're niceish.

Fonzie Rick looks better then Series 1 Rick. He just has a wonky eye.

But the Well Zombie is awesome. I love it.

NECA would be great to tackle TWD figures. It's ridiculous that the McFarlane figures cost more than a standard NECA figure yet are smaller and have crappier paint (I realize NECA's paint apps aren't always great buy they're still heads and shoulders above McFarlane). I wonder what the chances are of NECA doing some TWD figures since I believe they do make some TWD merchandise.
