Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

The PF thread is deep down in the bowels of the marvel section

Oh ink... Your so helpful :stick but in all seriousness the search feature does not even work. Strange that other forums are the same. Wonder if its a glitch on the thread / forum data base / template?

This Comiq is one of the best spider figures.
Where can i find a thread like this for the PFs?
The search button dont like me :panic::panic:

I search with the advanced settings using titles only instead of entire posts which is the default and it works OK. Searching is still a ***** tho.
Hope that helps.

My exclusive just arrived today :yess:

The magnet seems to leave something to be desired in the shooting arm though.

Still, loving how this guy looks with the venom comiquette

Those are asking prices. Completed listings show that the EX is selling for about a grand with shipping. The Reg obviously is selling for a little less. The Reg will set you back about $800 - $850 shipped. This is still some serious cash. The prices only seem to be steadily climbing on this piece. Glad I already have mine. I would hate to have to try and find this piece now.

I personably think this is the best statue I've seen.
To be honest, as much as I love Spidey and think this is the best large-scale Spidey statue out there, I still think this statue has some real issues. The McFarlane-esque big eyes, the cartoonishly skinny body, the bad paint apps. In other words, there is still a great opportunity for SSC to come out with a new statue that blows this one's doors off IMO. But until that happens, this is the best.

Kinda depends on your taste I suppose, I prefer the slim musculature of the comiquette although there is no way in He11 I am going to pay those prices for one. I'll gladly wait until a version comes along that I am pleased with.:impatient:

a bronze 1/4 is coming

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

Beggars can't be choosers :lol that's the only spidey for a while

I wouldn't bet money on that. Not with more Spiderman films/cartoons/games coming out. Sideshow knows that they have a cash cow with Spiderman. They haven't attempted a larger scale swinging sculpt, and Koto beat them to it, but I can see them striking while the iron is hot.

I don't think you understand how sideshow does things

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

Well you may be right, but since there have been 3 Comiquettes, and a PF since about 2008, they are averaging 1 a year. So I can wait as I have years in the hobby to wait for something better. Hell I could get the Iron Spider which I like better anyways.

Get that one and get someone to customize it....some sweet customizations of that statue out there
