just realized that the DX 12's elbow pads being one piece with the gauntlets (making the elbow pads look like they're floating in some poses) were actually accurate to the 1:1, as per the photo here:

Nice observation- was worried about HT take on the elbow pads..THX for clearing that up!
...and HT pretty much nailed that suit..!

Its accurate. They are one-piece with the gauntlets on the 1:1 suit. But, they're glued down to the elbows when the suit is worn ...

... they don't stick-out when Bale's arm is bent. The HT elbow pads aren't glued down, so they do stick out when you bend the arm.

No, if the gauntlets on the figure are anything like the MMS 71 or DX 02, they'll be hard plastic.

The elbow portion isn't just going to bend into place and stay in position to glue it. It's hard plastic, not the soft, flexible, rubber material on the actual prop gauntlets.

If you glue it to the fabric while connected to the gauntlets when you bend the elbow may restrict articulation,or even worse damage the fabric....No?

I have read all the nitpicking on this horrible figure and have decided to cancel my pre order. NOT BECAUSE of all the defects but because of this....

THE BULGE/PACKAGE on the dx 12 is WAY TO SMALL. Look at the pics I have provided. The oc batman bulge is BIG, George clooney is HUGE, Val kilmer is OK but Robin is HUNG. ANOTHER FAIL for hot toys. DAMN you for not giving us the most authentic batman ever made. I refuse to pay 260.00 for such a SUBPAR doll, I mean toy, I mean well you know what it is. First the head, then the paint app, then the lips, then the teeth, then the cape, then the boots, then the emblem, then the eyes, then the eye color, then the armor, then the bruce wayne head, then the base, then the box, YES YES NOW THE BULGE. Enterbay would have made it huge, but only medicom would have made it epic. Sorry hot toys your not getting my money im no sucker.

You seriously care that much about Christian Bales junk? This is nitpicking in its purest form.
