Can anyone tell from the pics where the head detaches? The beard looks solid against the body.

Yeah, I think it's just the hat. I was wrong in my guess earlier.

Unsure about ranking them. I really like but can't quite figure out why, mostly because I don't know what he's supposed to be doing. I like the circular flow of robes though.

Great statue for sure. Love the option with the hat which is how I will display him. Mine might even be here before the week is out as I got a shipping email this morning.

Weta did a really nice job on this Gandalf. I like this pose better than the Sideshow version but I'm perfectly happy with the PF I have which is my favorite Gandalf so I won't be adding this one.

I'll probably get this eventually. I will display it without the hat, no need to display it with my SS Gandalf Maquette.

Got Gandalf today as well. I love it! Likeness is just superb and detail is fantastic. I love how it captures that scene where he talks to Bilbo about going on an adventure. Seeing his new staff in person I really like it and the weathering is fantastic as well.

I'm seriously considering this figure because it's such a classic look - obviously it can work well in a LOTR display just as well as a Hobbit display.

I know. By the time I get home now it's getting darkish and I don't feel like dragging everything out. Weekends, days off, breaks work much better. I want to make sure I take decent pics at least to show off.
