I think i might have to have 3 speeder bikes total. 2 with biker scouts and another with Luke and Leia on it.

And I saw the MTT at Wal-Mart this weekend. $130 for a vehicle that looks cool but doesn't do much else = pass. It's kind of like the sand crawler. Iconic but useless.

I'd pay $130 for a correctly scaled Sandcrawler.

I think if you're a huge droid fan it would have to be something to pull the trigger on. I'm not much of a droid army fan at all and I wouldn't mind having one once WalMart starts dropping prices on it.

Yah, a Sandcrawler is definitely a cooler piece to have full scaled since it was a pretty memorable moment in Star Wars.

The MTT arguably is also a very cool moment in Episode 1 but the toy is cheapened to the point that I'm not even interested. And they threw in a crappy Obi-Wan kenobi figure too which makes absolutely zero sense.

a) he wasn't in the Gungan vs Battle Droid battle
b) when he stowed away in the beginning of Ep1 he had his jedi robe

Maybe if Hasbro spent something and gave us a cool figure with the vehicle, I might actually splurge for it come Christmas time.

Anyone find the bespin leia wave? Still no luck here.

I found 1 at Kmart and snatched it up. I was looking on their website and saw that they had the Bespin Leia on clearance for $9.00. I thought that was pretty weird. That's the only place I've seen this wave. All the other stores still have TPM peg warmers.

On a side note, I picked up 2 of the playskool Snowspeeders at Kmart for $8.00 a piece. They were also on clearance for $16 with an additional 50% off. I couldn't believe it. I'm going to be shopping Kmart a lot more often! :)

Whats everyones opinion on the best Grievous? I'd like one that can stand/pose reasonably well.

The best one is the recent Vintage carded Grievous. His arms can be combined into two or four and he comes with a fabric cape.

Since it's always fun to polish a turd, I give a repainted Hasbro Anakin Skywalker figure. Honestly a really good sculpt of Sebastian Shaw and the inner robes are pretty nice quality as well.

The body, outer robe and boots are from Sideshow and I made the belt from the buckle of the Hasbro belt and a strip of leather.

And a fun shot with the other force ghosts from ROTJ:

Anyone else getting the sense that the Hasbro line is dying off? Seems to be far less new announcements and rumour reports on Rebelscum than there used to be. Any new figures coming out are ones I feel like I've known about for over a year.

They aren't helping their cause with $250 TRU Exclusive Falcon's. 100 bones for Vintage box art....I don't think so. I'd have jumped on it if it was only $20 over what the other BMF was. It's inevitable it will go away some time, but some of their decisions have been a little wacky. It is more of a collector line anyway at this point and they sure are trying hard to make it not succeed. Shame too.

Yah my TRU got some vintage falcons in today but they were still on the cart. I didn't bother to check the price. I already have it so whatever.

Here's some pics of my Speeder Bike from TRU

Overall, I still like the vintage scout figure best but it's not good for riding the speederbike. And is it me or have the scouts never been as fat as they should be. They always seem way too skinny.
