:impatient:I've been very patient with SSC on the Biker Scout cuz of the Speeder Bike, but only cuz of the bike. If SSC never puts out the bike then they better watch their backs.:cuss

I'm waiting for their Biker Scout too.. but the bike isn't a necessity for me.

I just want a GREAT trooper figure.. but can they deliver this without botching it somehow.

That's what'll take the wind out of my sails..

I can't wait for the biker scout! I'm a little scared about how much the bike would cost though. If the eWeb cannon was $150, I can only imagine the bike would be $200-$300 by the time they get around to making it.

I'd have to settle for just getting the figure.:monkey2

By the time it comes out, it'll probably cost more than the PF went for.

So it looks like we will be seeing some re-releases (in a sense) of older figures, from what Tom Gilliand said in an interview.

"TOM GILLILAND: Star Wars is a life-blood property for us, and a constant source of inspiration for the Sideshow creative team. We are exploring and developing new projects in almost every conceivable format. We have some very cool life-size figures of Darth Vader and Boba Fett that are well into development. Our ongoing Premium Format line will be punctuated by new versions of the classic Episode IV characters as well as some interesting departures into the expanded universe. And the continued development of our Sixth Scale articulated figures are about to get an additional boost with some very ambitious projects. Look for Sideshow to update some older offerings with all new interpretations while also releasing some really special – and BIG – characters and vehicles."

Here's the link if you wanna read the whole thing.

So now what figures should we start selling off in anticipation of newer and better versions, every non-human figure pre-Episode IV Obi-Wan? I know this is good news for people who just started collecting or missed out on the original releases, but it kinda sucks, kinda, that those of us who got the first releases might have to replace them so our older figures don't look like crud next to the newer ones. Oh well, life goes on. Either way, I'm really excited to see what comes of this whole "really special – and BIG – characters and vehicles" statement.

Sorry if somebody else has mentioned the article in my previous post. Also, Yarna d'al' Gargan next please. Oh yeah!!!!!

By "new interpretations" I dont think Gilliland means a re-release of the same character in the same outfit.

I thought what he meant was something close to the Mythos line.
Making some changes here and there.

Thanks for posting that astro666. I've been thinking it would be really cool if SSC did release some Mythos style characters in the 1:6 line. That Guinness/McGregor Obi-Wan is amazing and if they somehow incorporated a bit of that inventiveness in a few releases I think that would be really cool. Also, "big vehicles" sounds like it could be a hint about the landspeeder. Still not 100% sure if I could justify buying such a piece, but it would be tough to resist.
