I just received mine today. I'm very impressed with this figure, the paint job is more gritty looking when you see it in person, then when you look at pictures here. This is definitely a must have figure.

Is the light up arc reactor supposed to be a blue light or white light ? because when I turn mine on its a white light ???

They've all been white on the Iron Man figures so far.

Ok, thanks. Its just that when i've watched some youtube reviews the light looks blue. I guess its just an optical illusion.

Yeah the arc reactor light is definitely white. If I wasn't so lazy I could adjust the white balance on my camera to get it to display properly. But I kinda dig the blue in the pictures.
:p

Got mine today. It was scheduled for tomorrow delivery. Nice to have it a day earlier than expected. I'll snap some pics of it alongside my 1.0 for comparison as soon as I get a chance. Still need to take it out of the packaging.

Looking forward to this!

@ Zipflint - Awesome pics! :wave

Okay, so I was casually looking at my Mark I 1.0, and noticed that the right arm did not have that extra piece in the elbow area that people were saying the 2.0 skimped on.

I did a little digging and saw that the product shots of the 1.0 did not have this piece either.

So, does the original 1.0 have this extra piece or not?

interesting....would like to know the answer as well...

Thanks again gang! Things have been tough lately (mom lost her job due to a knee injury, i've moved back home to take care of mom and my grandma, my own extensive health issues, my Nikon D80 being dead (BUT FINALLY REPAIRED!!!) so the good vibes are MUCH appreciated! :)

Yes...the lights work. They put the plastic tab below the tape. In order to remove the tab, you have to remove the tape. Thanks again guys!

Aha. Why didn't I think of that. Cheers.
Works a treat, and the arc light is bright.

Just got mine and finished setting him up. Awsome piece! So glad they reissued him, as I missed him the first time around. I hope they make the mark III and IV in a 2.0

I just looked at my MK I 1.0, and if you're talking about the metal band that goes around the back of his elbow then no; mine does not have it.

I took a quick iPhone photo showing there's no elbow piece on both my 1.0 and 2.0 Mark 1. So, judging by this, there is no elbow piece on the original or new production versions of the Mark 1.

I still plan to take some proper studio comparison shots.
