yeah , when i get mine, if the arc reactor doesn't light up it won't be a major blow. I doubt i will return it as i will never use it anyway, turned my mark v light on once. The light is too bright for my liking anyway it takes away from the eyes lights on other suits.

Same here I think Side Show might be fullfilling some of its orders first shiping some to its distributors. As opposed to waiting for the whole thing to come through
That's good news because it wasn't long ago that SS fulfilled its own orders first and then retailers 2nd... so we all had to wait for the 'second shipments' on Sparrow, Keatons Bats and Nicholson Joker. Meant another 4-6 weeks wait.

Honestly, I don't think SS has any particular shipping method at this point. I was one of the last to receive my Tumblers, which I ordered from them day 1, and some retailers had gotten theirs first. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for my retailer to get Nick Fury in.

If you are referencing the picture above your post, look at Mark I and VI, both angled by their stands -- see how mych taller VI is to V.... while the I is just slightly above the II. Therefore, if V and VI are the same height, means I is shorter than II.
If the Mk I wasn't made to look like such a monster in the cave relative to the little people he assaulted, it wouldn't make me think he should be a bulky head taller.
But hey, I'm still getting it because its the most awesome junkpile ever!!!
Hope this light issue isn't an issue. I'm holding off on getting the 1.0 or the 2.0 based on customer satisfaction at this point. Need about 20 more guys' reports to be sure.
Meantime, I think I'll buy the Mk II.
Here's a more front on shot (still a little angled sorry) for you to judge. The 2.0 is definitely shorter than both the MK IV/VI and new MK II, but makes up for it in sheer bulk that it doesn't bother me.

I keep thinking the same thing. I think the height is absolutely perfect. In the movie it certainly feels bigger, but I think that's the way it was filmed considering the confining cave environment.

Looks pretty close to me.
Except for the poor little Mark III. Still, awesome display, I'm quite envious.
Got mine today. I have to say, lined up with all the rest, this one very well may be my favorite. The detail on this is just exceptional. There's so much to look at. This is one of those figures that I know I will see something I haven't seen before every time I look at it for a while. Now granted, I did not have the first edition of this so I can't give any comparison but IMO, if you're on the fence on this one, particularly if you don't have a MK I at all, buy it. It really is an exceptional piece.

You guys keep using these distorted pics to show the Mark I as being the same size. I wish it was. Unfortunately, look at the VI -- he's much taller because the angle stands.
I'd be happy if the Mark I was at least the same height -- its the fact that he's shorter that bugs me. Just sayin'.... no biggie, I'm going to solve it for myself.
I really like the complete line-up... but I think I'm resigned to get the Mk I, II, V and VI (and VII when it comes out).

I was trying to show that he is shorter. I didn't realize it was distorted when I posted. It doesn't look to bad in the line compared to the other pic I posted. I'm not going to try to convince you because everyone has there own opinion and if you don't like him being shorter then v1 might be a better bet.

This pic clearly shows that Mk I is supposed to be the shortest.
Just look at the horizontal lines at the backdrop for reference.
Mark I 2.0 is perfectly scaled relative to other Marks
..but of course, they're all shorter than they're supposed to be compared to human figures.
