It is not a huge markup, rather a discount that BBTS is offering. Calibre has the statues listed at $1399 & $1699.

I would be all over the Bee if it was less than a grand, but not for more than what I paid for my Sideshow Optimus Prime maquette. That's just price gouging. Looks like my Prime maquette is going to remain my only piece from these films.

it's a real shame that Calibre took Optimus' guns away. now he just comes with 1 sword and axe. He would've been worth it to me if he came with the original grey prototype accessories.

Thanks for sharing the videos.Bumblebee is very cool,a little leg articulation toptimus looks great,but for that price it would be a little too boring for me to pose him like that when there is no leg articulation.No weapon would look good in a stance that doesn't look battle ready.

no it's not, the retail price is <$1000 for bee. Those prices you listed are outdated, calibre lowered the retail price. Robotkingdom has the real price but they are outside of US.

Right. It appears Calibre decided to increase the price suddenly and significantly within the last few days.

I would still like to know more about these pieces before making a decision, but it's not looking good.

I just received the bbts mailer and they incorrectly list the Bumble Bee statue by Calibre at $119.99

I wish that were true!
