Hegemon is a great size for a purely classics display as he is pretty much the same height as the Classics/Henkei. He is deffo to small for the upcoming MP line or even a mixed display for those using Faith leader though.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Takara handle the new MP Megs, and will be more than happy if they take some cues from this guy but refine them a bit.

I actually don't mind the legs or handle of the gun as I prefer a slightly compramised gun to make the robot proportions better (I'm looking at you MP 5). Lets face it most Megatrons will be in robot mode 99% of the time anyway. For me he is easily the best transforming version of G1 Megs to date.

Megatron is one of those characters where I couldn't care less about the alt mode as long as the robot mode is great.

The fascination with toy guns I had as a kid isn't there now and if I walked round with Megatron now someone would think it was a real one and call the cops!

After the MP Lamborghinis and the Laserbeak/Buzzsaw mold I'm a lot more confident in Takara's design team kicking ass with a new Masterpiece Megatron but there's still a concern that they'll try to reinvent the wheel and do something to screw it up.

Hegemon has proven a top notch G1 Megatron robot mode can be made without affecting the alt mode too much so hopefully Takara follow Toyworld's lead as another MP05 would be a disaster.

Takara actually managed to save these two. I'd actually buy that Optimus for how nice it looks. I'm now really curious to what their Bruticus will look like too. Shame Shockwave is shoved into their Prime AM line, though.

If they do, don't expect any better prices than you would find on eBay. When MP Starscream came out, they cleared out all the stock in their local area, jacked up the price significantly, and claimed in their item description they were selling it as a "service" to international buyers who couldn't obtain it from retail outlets.

They shipped a package to an incorrect adress once. Told me to take it up with ups.

Ups said they delivered it to the adress listed, it was on big bad toy store.

Bbts refused to ever respond back again.

I do as little business with them as possible now.

I don't post here too often, so sorry if I sound like a newbie...
I am actually a big fan of TF, but not a hardcore one. A few years ago I had the Classics collection but sold it and decided to get only the MP Optimus and Megatron.

Laetly I've been thinking on selling them both in order to get some of those awesome 3rd party Tformers.
I think I'll get the Hegemon Megatron, is just too awesome!!
But, I want to get an Optimus to go along with him. Anybody have pics of the iGear one along Hege Megs?
The iGiear stuff looks really awesome too, I might get Ratchet and Ironhide.
Finally anoyboy knows if there's a nice Shockwave and Soundwave figures out there?

Masterpiece Soundwave will be out later this year.

Hegemon is too short for igear minimp prime.

Masterpiece Shockwave is rumored to be in development, along with a Masterpiece Megatron V2.

apparently, there was a sihiloette shown at a recent convention in asia.
It's my understanding that it popped up on the screen, at the end of a panel. But no comments were made about it

They're pretty good as they are but I think they look their best once they've been modded with original G1 Insecticon parts or the various custom ones that are available at Shapeways and the TFW forums.

I haven't yet got round to modding my own as I was waiting on a set that some guys at TFW were doing but there's not been any news on that project for a while so I may explore one of the other options.
