Well, SDCC was awesome!!
I got to see the DX Mazinger and it is absolutely amazing!!
!!
I tried taking some decent pics but kept getting the reflection of the glass, I'll post them later but they are not all that great...

I also scored a SRC Shin Mazinger, which is awesome!!
Love it!!

to be honest i was asking my self the same question.
i can't wait to see Mazin in hands, i want to see and know more about the articulation.

I still havent picked up a SRC Shin Maz. I gotta get me one of these guys. I like how chunky his proportions are.

Yeah those Maz are awesome, ES Gokin did a Gaiking also based on the Legend of Daiku Maryu.

I happen to find this today also. These guys are about as pricey as the DX Mazinger, but its the Getter G team. I might have to start saving for this guy. If anything at least for Getter Dragon.

Those look awesome.

I thought it was a live action movie.

G-Force/BOTP CG movie was also shelved.

Oh well, I have my Raideen dvds which make me happy.

I know. I'm soo pissed off about the Gatchaman (G-Force in USA) cancellation. It was being handled by Imagi Animation Studios. Same group that did the TMNT movie and Astro Boy.

yeah those are Fewtures designs...so yeah Im guessing each bot will run about $350...maybe even more since its the G team.

This is the unfortunate truth.

I remember reading (I think 1 or 2 years ago) that Imagi significantly down-sized their company. They were trying to continue the projects they had going at the time, one being Gatchaman, with less staff due to finances.

Guess we all know how that turned out.

So,
Metal box as you know is making a Die Cast Getter, but now, they just showed this!!!!

Looks awesome!
I hope they re-release Mazinger and Great Mazinger fully painted and with those cool weapon effects too!!
Also, I'm curious about the eyes since they seem to be some sort of clear plastic... maybe they light-up???

I actually just seen Grendizer today as well Kuzeh. Arent those metalbox models though. Dont you have to put them together which in that case I know mine wouldnt look as cool as that one. If there actual figures I wouldnt mind having that Getter G. Anyone know for sure if there actual figures or put together kits painted/unpainted.

Yeah it looks like those are the new versions the old versions were actually kits. I like that
they went for a pre-built figure.

A little pricey for such a small figure, but it is diecast. Im thinking...
