It is bigger but I'm not so sure on better at least in my own opinion. Don't get me wrong though, it's mighty impressive but not enough for me to let go of that 1/4 beauty.

these half scale have that wow factor but really expensive space eater and once you buy it , value goes down since is open edition which sucks. don't tell me that if you able to afford this line and price that this shouldn't be an issue. trading selling buying and changing your collection to another scale etc.... is part of this wonderful expensive hobby.

Seems like a lot of collectors are size queens.
It is much easier displaying a PF in a case than it is a LSF that will be out in the open somewhere and after a day of display become a dust magnet. I'll stick with the PF line. Galactus is as big as I will go.

I think it looks fantastic but Vader is the only one I would honestly pull the trigger on at this price. I'd think about Hulk really hard though...maybe Batman but with the PF's I don't need them to be that size.

Both Loki and Magneto PFs are LONG overdue.. They need to be released so that we can add them to the Avengers and X-Men line-ups.

The Doom LSF is perfect and the best piece I have seen from SDCC so far. HOWEVER, the price isn't what bothers me; the freaking size is. 1/2 scale is just SO large that I wouldn't be able to fit them into my glass display cases and I have three little munchkins. Boba Fett, Captain America, or an original Predator would tempt me, but I have a feeling we will be seeing Darth Vader in 1/2 scale sooner rather than later.

you know about the 1:3 cinemaquette vader? which has almost perfect head minus a minor inaccuracy with the neck chain.
