Maybe it wasn't the right film for it, but Avenger was my first IMAX movie and I really didn't find any difference, and the seatin was worse than standar theaters so I don't think I'll ever do IMAX again.

Did you see it at a LieMAX?

You haven't seen TDK in IMAX...

WHAT?!!!?

Watching Avengers in Imax obviously not going to be much difference, it's not filmed in IMAX cameras :dunno, that's where the major difference comes in TDK, and will be likewise for TDKR i am sure

I saw TDK in IMAX! Now, if WB would hurry up already, maybe I could see it again. :impatient:

What the heck is a 1570 film?:

From my Imax theater:

Bought tickets for odeon in Nottingham. IMAX cinemas are in Sheffield and Manchester; 40-70 miles away respectively.

5.30pm showing on Friday luxury seats. 2 large ice blasts, couple of bags of crisps/sweets with my mate, 2hrs 45 mins of Nolan batman COME AT ME BRO!

Wow, just called an actual IMAX theater near one of my relatives, and they aren't having the marathon in IMAX, only TDKR. Looks like it's lie way or the highway. :(

What are VIP tickets?

Some Theatres have VIP cinemas. Here in London Ontario, we have a relatively new theatre which has them. The cinemas have numbered seating that you select when you purchase the tickets. The seats are better, there's more room, and servers bring your food orders to you. It is a 19+ area where alcohol is served (in Canada, regular theatres don't serve alcohol). There is also a lounge to hang out in before the movie starts. My tickets cost $17.50 each. It's totally worth it, especially for those movies you just have to see on or near opening night, but don't want to spend time in a line up and scramble for seats.

Luxury seats. Specifically ordered rows by letter and number, like row H seat 17. Leather reclining seats, two large seat cup holders and spinal support with the bet mid level eye view of the film.
