I received my first 3A figure today: 1/6 Ankou - Johnson! I was struck by the stylized pictures of the figures on the box - very cool.

The movable eye is awesome! It really allows for the figure to have character.

Did anybody else notice an oily film or residue on the clothing? I assume this is from the weathering. Does this dissipate over time?

I'm very pleased with my purchase and can't wait to pick up some more

I received my Ankou-Johnson figure and just took a few pics (which are horrible in comparison to others in this thread, so please accept my apologies in advance)

This figure is great. The hot-toys-like body is always nice. The headsculpt is what gives the figure so much character. The bot head is a cool sculpt and the movable eye is awesome. I'm hoping to track down the Ankou-Junglevet figure, but the prices for that guy seems to be soaring.

I'm new to ThreeA figures & I just wanted to ask how hard is it to get my hands on a Fighting JC. Although I'm not crazy about Ashley Woods style something about that figure instantly grabbed me.

JC is a getting to be a well sought after piece. Your best bet would be ebay or kidrobot bst forums. The thing about a lot of 3A figures/bots is once they're sold out the inflation craze takes over. So be prepared to pay double or even triple the original price. There could be another variation of JC down the road. My guess is not anytime soon though since Palm Sunday JC just dropped and hasn't shipped yet. Best of luck with your search and beware of the awesomeness

I'm new to ThreeA figures & I just wanted to ask how hard is it to get my hands on a Fighting JC.

There have been 5 versions released so far and some are harder to come by than others.
1. Exegesis (all white)
2. Mauro (all black)
3. Fighting (black with red trim)
4. Tracky (track suit)
5. Palm (new red outfit)
