Issues with 1/6 Snake Eyes and Timber set

I couldn't disagree more, but whatever. Regardless of their back story Joes need to look like action figures and live up to the iconic hero look.

Ninjas are lean. They don't need all of that brute muscular bulk in the arms.

This is him with the muscular arms being discussed, so you're not happy even with him having the larger arms? I'm confused by your point I guess, so we can definitely agree to disagree.

Maybe you can kitbash some Hulk arms onto him when he gets released.

No I'm in favour of him having the same size in shoulders and arms as RnR is all I'm saying. It wouldn't matter if the character was a BBer or Ninja or cricket player. If he's a Joe..he needs to fit the profile of being above average in everything...including physique. Realistic body mechanics shouldn't be part of the equation IMHO.

That's true but in many ways they look a little too buff. I suppose that was the 80's style, He-Man springs to mind.

I think to get that commando look they need look no further than Beachhead and Stalker (exc) as the basic designs.

When I think of Sideshow making the Ninjas buff, I think of Kenner making the buff Star Wars figures in the late 90's.


Ninjas should not be muscled like a body builder, in my own opinion.


And, that being said, Snake Eyes is not a Ninja in "Cruel's World". So I am OK if Sidesow 2.1s him.

my only issue with the new arms is that he's not going to be able to get into SOME poses it'll be a fairly minor loss, and I can live with it, but as soon as Hot toys puts out a new batch of true type advance's. I'm getting one for him.

That's why the TTA works better. The double elbow joint lets him look muscular while allowing him to achieve all the same poses as a standard body.

Pretty sure I typed SS...as in reference to Storm Shadow on the old Pro body as a comparison to V2 Snake Eyes.
