Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Paranormal Activity 3 - 6/10. Better than 2, not as good as 1. Still not sure I get the whole story, but a decent way to wrap things up.

Star Trek (2009). 7/10
Enjoyed the movie, but I think the whole Spock travelling through time was weak.

I also noticed the wide brown building with the huge staircase in the center leading up to the building was Cal-State University Northridge. The Oviatt Library.

Winona Ryder looked too young to be the mother of a 20+ year old. :lol
I wonder if she lifted any props on the set.....

Funny I watched this tonight.

Immortals - 6/10

Thought it was too long and boring. There was some great action sequences but the pacing was just sooo slooooow. I like Tarsem Singh, especially for his other film "The Fall" but this was forgettable.

I agree that Rourke played a good bad guy and future Superman Cavill really brought the intensity in those fight scenes. Loved it when Ares showed up and smashed every soldiers brains out. Likewise with the ending Gods vs. Titans scene.

Anonymous 6/10

Another long dragged out film but at least was far more interesting than Immortals in the sense that I was into the story but knew that some parts just dragged.

The argument behind the fact that the Earl of Oxford was in fact the original author of Shakespeare's works makes for an interesting story, and coming from a director like Emmerich the film looked absolutely beautiful. From the CGIed vistas and old Victorian era England to the lighting and composition of shots. Not to mention the acting was top notch especially from Rhys Ifans and the rest, which honestly you lose count of who is who which was another draw back. Still very interesting.

Oh and forgot to mention

Mystery of the Batwoman 7/10

Pretty good story, and loved the character even though she has nothing tho do with either old or new Batwoman, and I've been on a Batwoman drawing kick that I just had to see anything related to her.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies 6/10

McGuinness' art translated pretty well to the animated format, although I found Superman and Luthor drawn very oddly. Captain Atom and others looked really well and there were some nice fight scenes overall what you would expect from a WP animated flick.

Justice League: Doom - 9.5/10

Just watched it, and for someone who didn't read the JLA: Tower of Babel story, I found it a very exciting watch! Wanted more, so I gave it 0.5 less than perfect.

Loved the part when Batman said.. "We can still save Superman & Green Lantern.. but you have to do exactly what I say." :clap
A hero so powerful & influential that metahumans who are 10x more powerful than him are following him at will. That's how bad-ass Batman is!!!! :rock

Shark Night - 3/10 (should have been a SyFy show)

Drive - 3/10 Way too slow.

You're too slow! That movie has nice pacing and is a great pic! Just teasing btw. But damn, what did you expect? Geez.

Okay...

Lets see... Chronicle 8 out of 10

Ummm, and Haywire lets give it 7 out of 10. Would give it more if it weren't for the craptastic score!

Paul - 8/10

Loved it. The movie references were great, too.
