:rock Love it!

I havent been able to get mine off either....I figured I better quit while I'm ahead before I damage the paint job.

Wait... what? You haven't taken off the face plate?

Just a little pressure from the side and it pops right off. :dunno

Long story short , I spent a lot of that summer appearing at local events, fairs ,shows etc , in my home made Batman oufit ! It was built from VERY little reference , ( basically the posters sent to promote the film ) but was surprisingly accurate , though extremely uncomfortable .
I'm the guy at the back with the big ears .

That pic made my night.

I understand Karnis' hesitation with the face plates. Mine are a bear to switch out.

While we're on the subject of minor problems, has anyone recieved one with an overly tight belt? Mine is so tight that it's deforming the abs and crotch somewhat. Not a deal breaker but I was surprised.

There must be a trick to it that I don't know I'm doing, cos I haven't had any trouble.

There must be. I've tried a few different ways but they seem to really stay in there.

My belt is fine Coco.

That's good, jye. I must've gotten the only tight one. :lol

My belt is fine Coco.

Run it under some hot water and stretch it a bit.

Hey, that's a good idea. I'll try it. Thanks!

great pics guys...keep em coming...I broke down and ordered from SS on Monday....it's on backorder right now so not sure when he'll ship. I used the Valentine's promo card and got it for $214 shipped....not too shabby...

so if I could do a quick run down of the QC problems people are having.

1. No holes or not opened up holes in the cape to put the rods in.
2. Some oil residue that can be wiped off and not visual afterwards.
3. Tight belt possibly constricting the rubber.
4. Hard to swap out face plates.

Does that about cover it?

Yup :lol

My face magnets are strong.

Better than too weak.

That's all I've read about too. And those problems are mentioned from a few or one, like me and my belt. Aside from the uncut rod slits in the cape there hasn't been any ultra common problems with this one.

Those face plate magnets are wicked strong. It says to push from the side but forget that! That's all I need is to warp the area and then the plate won't fit snuggly. It also says not to use anything to try and take it out, like objects with sharp corners. Then how else are we suppose to do it?:dunno

It's either the magnet or cowl blocking the movement sideways.

We'll survive. :lol

80's action dudes are laughing at our weakness. :lol

Awesome, loved those collectible cards, wish I had taken better care of them.

Maybe it's just my DX09 but Batman's face seems very tanned, comparing to the previous pictures, I see a few similar to mine but the majority are a lighter skin tone. Anyone feel the same

Otherwise awesome figure, also does anyone have any ideas of what 1/6 prop I could add to the figure display. I don't like placing them on the stands, for example I have the BB bats with the batsignal, looking forward to adding the Batman Returns bats beside the Suit Vault from the Batcave, just can't think of a Batman 1989 scene, thanks

Anyone else have a slight problem with the belt? On the yellow capsules of the belt, at the bottom of the capsules, of mine, there is like left over plastic, anyone know what i'm talking about?

Re: The face plate....I've resigned myself to the pure simple fact that I'm just stupid. :cuckoo: :thud:

But my stupidity allows me not to worry too much about it since I was never going to use the other two faces anyway. :yess:

This is the first figure for me which is good enough to warrant owning 2-3 of him.

One for simple pose of cape draped front.

The other one (or 2) with action poses.

One definately with line launcher.

Oh, and the Line launcher pose has to be the same as Maglor's. :lol
