It isn't hard to find if you want to look, but I won't link to it.

IF it weren't for those choosing to be your "homophobe" or "heterosexists" we wouldn't have those individuals who want to decide not to be.

And to say because someone has a certain opinion therefore are not allowed to feel empowered serves no different purpose than the one to which you roll your eyes at.

Guy is Alpha.

His words are great!

yeah and I don't think the name change was all pride and ego something that's easy to misread into....

Didn't he have to change it to prevent Titan entertainment from legally owning it? Something about not being able to copyright someone's identity? Plus being how else would he be recognized if he was still work in his business. I mean he is still one of the most recognizable and talked about pro wrestlers.

He's obviously done something right or this thread wouldn't be here for as long as it has.

Man is an motivator, and is doing a lot more for people than any of these other wrestlers.

Anyone that lights a fire under your ass and gives you a source of inspiration, direction and focus is of great value. (Vince Lombardi, Jack Lalanne etc etc.) This guy also involves all three (mind body soul) he knows it's all interconnected.

I was moved by this guy's speech, but he is not in the same league as Jack LaLanne. Jack LaLanne is in a whole other class of athlete, being one of the best that ever lived.

Ha! It's interesting how quickly the tone of this thread changed once people gave him the chance and heard what he had to say. I was a huge fan of 'ol Helwig as a kid, and really appreciate what he's so intensely trying to accomplish today. Even though he has a tendency to come across as full of himself and an egomaniac, his randy savage tribute video is pretty darn real. Another good one is when he calls out the TMZ camera crew. I love the guy.

And yes, he changed his name to Warrior to retain the likeness of the Ultimate Warrior character from the WWF in a court battle.

That's stupid.

How non-judgmental of you. :monkey1

I would agree. But simply as motivators, they are both skilled.

That's stupid.

...and so is your mom...

Way to jump my posts again..
You got a point you want to make? :lol

Mine was merely pointing out the contrast.

I was never endorsing either of the two. In fact I don't care either way what another person's orientation is... IMHO what way someone swings is only one aspect of the person...and none of my business.

Here's a video that's a bit more entertaining where some of his fellow wrestlers talk crap about him.

LOL one of the greatest entertainment characters in wrestling EVER! ^

Honestly I like the guy to. I always have. Even though he wasn't the most technical wrestler in the world he sure as hell was very entertaining and he definitely put butts in the seats. All those wrestlers hating on him in that video combined have never sold as many tickets as Warrior.

He's entertaining but ultimately, he lacks character-too one dimensional. I think I heard the owner needed someone to replace Hulk Hogan. And he's not up to it. After awhile I lost interest, especially in that vid.

At least he's not doing anything bad. Don't see anything about him in the public eye so that's good. Unlike Hugh Hefner's son I guess....arrested for assault.
