Got my cap, and no issues to report! Came with the extra long foot pegs, and the gun fit in the holster without any issues. Here is a quick pic, I'll take better ones tomorrow!

Did you slap those longer pegs on? I really think they make a difference. They really even out the proportions and put him at a better height when displayed next to Thor and Iron Man.

Looks great, BTW. :clap That bike makes for a great display with Cap.

Yes. Just call them up. They're CS is second to none.

Thanx for the info. Gave them a call and said to e-mail them some pics and they would take a look and see if it was just my figure or others were like this. Said with the holidays it will take a little longer.

can defiantly see the lack of QC with this figure, and to top it off the bloody clip thingy ripped the holster as i was trying to put it back in.. easy fix though,,,

Mine did the same thing...how did you fix it?

I've handled this figure twice and both times something broke/ripped. I guess my fear of handling Hot Toys figures isn't that crazy...sad though...

Thanks! Yeah, I switched out the foot pegs. It is subtle, but it does make a difference!

Mine came a day early. Typical box from Sideshow, big dents and holes, that smashed Caps box. I have to believe this happens in the SS warehouse. I never get any smashed boxes from UPS other than the ones from SS. (my conspiracy theory for them wanting you to pay extra for another box).

Mine came with foot pegs and buttons. Looks good so far, wont take it out til xmas eve for my son.

Knock on wood, but I have never had an issue with any figures shipped from Sideshow having smashed/crushed/dinged boxes and I have a ton of figures. You guys must all have bad UPS centers/delivery guys.

WELL had to fix holster strap very fragile on left leg ,lucky had glue but this guy very fragile straps ! beware when posing straps cheaply glued ! fixed hopefully so far........

Thanks for checking. That's a bummer. Guess I get my Christmas gift from the girlfriend in January.

AEC is saying soon after Christmas for 1st batch and early January for 2nd.

At least my box will arrive undamaged.

Hum so last week of the year and then a larger batch in January, makes sense the considering that side show is showing a back order on this

Lol, just thought its odd that out of all the customs that I have, the big guy is the one I get lots of PM's from.
I wish I could help, but this guy came with a plain brown box, with nothing written on him, no logo, no artist info, nothing. The only info that I could think of is that I think it was made by the same guy who made this custom wolverine.

The only reason I found this Hulk was when someone photoshopped his pic next to the other HT figures to mimic the Avengers. So I asked the guy where he found the hulk and he sent me a link to the ebay sale.
As far as more info about the guy, I will say that when I first bought it, I actually regret buying him at first cause I was thinking he may look cool on pics but he's gonna look like a cheap plastic figure when he arrives. To my shocked, it was not the case. It was very well made. The paintjob is amazing with several layers of green, yellow and blues. He is also quite heavy. The coolest thing though is that he blends perfectly with the Hot Toys cause he has some texture to him, unlike regular statues that looks like its made of shiny marble.
A fellow freak pointed out that it looks like the artist was also inspired by the art from the Ed Norton Hulk movie as you can tell from these pics.

I wish I could be more help guys. I actually tried looking for it several times to help out the ones who PMed me but I cant find anymore of this guy on ebay.

HOLD ON!

Why don't you recast this piece and sell it to your fellow board members? I hear people taking about recasting here all the time. I hope I'm not breaking any rules by talking about it but if this is indeed a custom piece and he owns it, it should be all good.

I know a lot of people here would buy one!
