Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Anyone not suprised this didnt sell out already?

Or is hot toys just ramping up the number of molds made that sell outs wont happen really anymore

Superman being very low cost/simple figure (except for the packaging).... they might as well ramp up the production.

I'm actually terrified to order this guy thinking I might end up with a defected one! :(

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

From what i have seen some people are being WAY ____ about issues. I had a shine spot on mine, didn't bother me at all, only reason i am getting a new one is cape wire was pushed way out.(i posted pics) I just got news that i am getting a replacement. I seen people complain about S's being off center by 0.00000009 MM and tiny snags that are barley visible. Yes, we payed a lot of $ for this but to expect pure perfection from a toy is folly. Get your OCD under control people. You send stuff back when it is majorly flawed or broke.(and some here have that right, i'd say the other half don't) Not when an S looks off in a new moon cycle.

I've got 3 of these and all three suits were just fine. One looked crooked but it just needed to be centered by futzing the shirt.

Well in fairness supes suit is skin tight and pretty simple, a snag or an off center S is a big deal taking those factors into consideration.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Yeah if it's actually off center. I 've seen folks on here complain when it coulda been futzed perfect or wasn't even off in the first place. Snags suck, but that is the fragile costume for ya.

This for example some think is off...to me it doesn't warrant a return.
