The amount of hypocrisy coming out of Montreal over this incident is staggering. When the incident with Chara happened you had guys like Tony Marinaro going on and on about how the NHL had to crack down on hits to the head and such.

Now, today Tony defends Pacioretty saying it was just a hockey play and that he's a gentle nice young man who would never hurt a fly or some such nonsense.
