First HT box I received from SSC that wasn't squished in transit :yess:

Edit: Having trouble trying to properly fit the crystal pieces in the base :gah:

This figure is cool. The crystal base is sweet too. I don't think my "S" symbol isn't aligned the best, but it doesn't bother me that much. Super figure :D

I finally put the base together,

Put the base on the floor
heat only the base with a hair dryer for 5 mins then put the crystals in one by one, when you get it put together, let it all cool down before moving it, the black clip has a screw to loosen it when you attach it to the clear tube stand. be careful not to impale yourself on the largest crystal, Nothing fits when the base is cold, good luck.

That sucks that the crystals don't fit unless you heat them up. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, it fits like glue after it cools though, they should mention it in the guide.

I have to heat it up with a hair dryer? Awww man :thud:

You can also do this with hot water too, just put a cup for a minute on your microwave and the submerge the piece for 10 seconds :peace

Sorry to hear about your sweaty forehead Shorty :(

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Thanks guys :)

I noticed the collar after the fact pjam, can that be futzed away? It's all I see when I look at the pics now :lol

It only take 15 mins but it looks awesome when it's done.

looking at it in hand Brought tears to my eyes, pre-ordered him as soon as i saw the posts, ads and previews in July.

it's been a long wait for us all but if I had to choose, I would rather have superman than any other toy.

I'm sure you can. I would consult with the futzmeister, Wor-Gar though first.

You may have to actually remove the suit and iron it out but there might be a simpler solution. I'll ask him to weigh in...

Looks like you need to pull the shirt down as there is material bunching above the symbol.
