What if the next X-Men or Avenger figure sucks really bad? Are you going to kid yourself into thinking it's great and buy it or are you going to keep your disappointment to yourself, not order it and move on?

If it sucks I will not order it and just wait until another one gets made. I've passed on statues before like the Psylocke comiquette. I collect all AH & Mark Brooks statue and its now not complete because I did not like the sculpt. Never regretted it one bit even if my collection is now not complete.

I like the pose the cloth is expected.

Buy what you like. If you don't like the sculpt or the cloth, its simple.
I'm mean really you don't like cloth?! stay away from the PF line and collect 1/5 or Bowen.
I don't know why you guys are preaching about the cloth on a PF. Heck even if it didn't have a cloth shirt people would complain about the neck seem, or the underwear.

I find people need to convince themselves not to buy it by bashing it publicly. wolverine PF had the same flack also from what i recall.
All i know for 400.00 bucks this thing better be perfect!.
I'm collecting Avengers and Xmen PF's also. And collect SS reason why? because there statues PF line is Superior over everything in the market. There not going to produce an ugly PF. Maybe a Commi yes!.lol Rouge came pretty dam close, but luckly i didnt have lazy eye issues with mine.

I like it!

I believe the pose was done so Colossus could fit with the other X's.

I think the fabric will make it look more real.

Overall, looks like a great piece.

I think I may venture to see what it would look like chromed.

Ordered.

Id rather wait for in hand pics. This is the first PF that I dont think Ill preorder (so far from my most wanted list).. Ill probably get it depending on SSC response to the drop in quality control. I think the colossus comiquette had great paint apps.. the cloth proportion on the PF kinda makes it look like a doll.

Apocalypse will be just as big. Was hoping that they would've used leather similar to the Bucky PF. The price is a bit disturbingly high too. Not faulting anyone for preordering, more power to the people that are.

The print btw is horrendous though..

Colossus' hefty price tag coupled with the Rogue fiasco, I think the door officially shut on me getting a 1/4 scale X-Men team. Sux, but such is life.

On the plus side, it has made the choice to part with Gambit and Cyclops much easier :lol

guess Marvel requested a reduction in of the anatomical posterior of the males too. Colossus in that print has a flatter ass than Rogue. I didnt think it was possible.

They should put a piece of clothe inside the statue then sculpt everything else. So that they can still call it premium format.

Looks like he is wearing a thick sweater his Russian Grandma knitted for him.

Sideshow and their absurd cloth on statues policy has ruined what could have been the definitive Colossus statue, now it just looks like a over sized Mego doll.

As usual, not a big fan of the cloth uniform. I realize it's a PF and that is what is expected. I just wish SS would make the PF line 1/4 scale that often used mixed media but doesn't require cloth. There are enough statues where the use of cloth feels forced because it is a PF and the statue likely would have been better as sculpt only. Statues like Cyclops, Rogue and Gambit all have cloth accessories and it works. You can even remove them if you choose.

I am loving the Lord of the Rings Maquette line for this reason. More dynamic poses because they can sculpt the "cloth" to look the BEST.

If you have the Jason PF then you know how huge he is. That means Colossus is an absolute monster.

That is impressive if he is that big.

And I will say this, I think the cloth was a bad choice, they should have used something like the did with Bucky Cap.

Still looks good, but I think it could have looked better.
