You know for the last 2 years, SSC has made more Hulks (including She-Hulk) then and other characters. You will get a Movie PF Hulk before the modern Hulk.

I agree with you Leonidas.

You know what the strange thing is here. I see the Marvel pieces going downhill with each new one that comes out, especially in the PF line.

But, when you look at the other licenses, like Vampirella or DC for example, they are absolutely amazing and have so much high quality work in them.

Based on this Colossus PF, and the quality of the cloth, pose, etc., this should be $275 max. $400 is absolutely crazy.

I agree with you Leonidas.

That would mean he would be priced less then Madame Hydra? Are u serious North? Colossus is 7" taller then her. I do think he is priced a little high by $40 though.

Oh, I think Madame Hydra is too expensive as well. But, I'm sorry, for a $400 price tag I expect pure awesomeness, not just stale overused pose, poor clothing, hollow statue, and too small of a base.

I would be ok with that price if she's well done. I'm just worried. First the whole Rogue drama, now an average overpriced Colossus. If Colossus becomes the next Sabretooth, then I will pick him up. I got my Sabretooth brand new, never opened in box for $220.

The base is large enough at 12". The bottom line is the hobby is getting expensive. Yah we can point out flaws or bicker about the price, but it's not going down. Would I like to pay less....hell yes!

I look at this, I've paid a lot more for back statue then this. Im sure u did also with Soulfire Grace or Venom comiquette. If u want the statue, order it. If you don't want it due to price or quality, don't order & move on.

I don't have to move on. I was excited about the piece and wanted a Colossus to go with my Marvel PF collection, but not at this price tag.

Btw, VS, when have you ever dropped a subject you were interested in, and just moved on?

Precisely why I cancelled her as much as I loved her...There is no way I'm paying over 300$ for a 1/5 comiquette. That would make me part of the current problem Thank you for raising such good points tonight btw

Yah North, but I've been reading both this & the other Forum and basically a small percentage of the same peeps are talking about the same thing over again with fabric or price. IMO, this is a fantastic piece and the PF looks great. If its a price thing then order Bowen or another producer. However, Bowens price aren't cheap either. $230 for a FS female and $350 for the larger ones. Value for dollar, SSC has the best deal in both price and scale.

I will move on from this discussion though.

Yeah it's getting too expensive. I've been a Sideshow collector for many years, but with the prices going up and up I know that my time in this hobby will probably wont be for much longer. I can keep up with the current prices for now, but I know they'll keep on rising and then I'll have to call it quits eventually. It's almost like a dying man who can already see his demise or the end.

I don't know about the people here and their thoughts on the piece, but I guarantee you on the other forum it is not a small percentage. It is well over half the people that have commented are disappointed in one thing or another. I have the right to my opinion, just like you have the right to yours, EVEN WHEN YOU REPEAT YOURSELF 300 different times.

I don't have a problem with cloth being used when it's accurate and works (like the boots). I just never thought of Colossus' upper uniform as being cloth. I've been thinking it was metal since 1975. LOL

I just want to complete the Avengers, X-Men & JLA teams and I'll cut my hobby purchase significantly. Maybe get some odd female statues but that would be it for me.
