Jim Lee's X-Men are classic Marvel. Somehow this line lost steam for me. Gambit is great. Wolverine is okay as a stand alone (more of a Sabretooth companion). Colossus looks good but the lack of chrome brings out the bright red/yellow fabrics NOT in a good way.

I am more excited about PFs in the DC line if they match Joker's quality.

Jim Lee's X-Men are classic Marvel. Somehow this line lost steam for me. Gambit is great. Wolverine is okay as a stand alone (more of a Sabretooth companion). Colossus looks good but the lack of chrome brings out the bright red/yellow fabrics NOT in a good way.

Leo u own the Cap PF. The fabric is the same quality. Wait till a few years when this piece sky rockets and all the peeps who passed will have to fork out premium price. It was once said about Cap and Hulk PF.

No, in all honesty, I really was very serious about ordering Colossus. But, a medicore statue for $400 is pathetic.

It pains me to think what monstrosity they will do to Storm when they make her.

To me this looks like the same material used on both Cap and Thor. So people saying there is a drop in quality are talking nonsense. This is the same quality of cloth used on those two.

Lot of b*tching and complaining about cloth / fabric material. This is the staple of what SSC does best. You guys should get a different hobby or buy full sculpted statues instead whether it's from SSC or another company.

I was looking at the Scale Representations between Colossus and the Jason PF and Colossus is definitely super tall. The Jason PF is 23 inches but has a much higher base and Colossus is 24 inches with a much lower base. If you were to put the statues side by side by themselves Jason would be around Colossus' shoulders.

Good point...I seriously doubt its the same material though..I still predict Colossus will reach 1k on the secondary market within a couple of years because of the marvel stamp so I'm most likely getting him now.
Any rumors on when they'll do a Jean Grey aka Phoenix PF??

I think SSC is struggling with the base for Phoenix. I think the base needs to have a light up feature for the flames.

I'm more about flames coming from the base & surrounding her lower part of the body. Similer to Sotas Ryu base. Don't know about the Phoenix flame though. It would be extremely difficult to do.
