Thanks Tex! :hi5:

If you have this figure and hav the original coat still on him, I'd suggest putting a paper clip underneath the collar to keep a better fit. I did that with mine and I think it looks much better

Yeah my figure is completely stock at the moment.........I'll have to give that a try.

I got thte final pieces I neede to bash this guy together a few days ago and Im pretty happy with him BUT I have never had a harder time futzing clothes on a figure in my life...ever. I cant get the damn shirt collar to lay naturally over the tie and I cant get the stupid tie( what the hell is that made out of anyway?? Dumb) to do what I want either.

Guys, do you think the price of this one will go up later this month or earlier next year? :cuckoo: Thinking of getting him just to complete my TDK characters.

Nice pics. See your shirt collar lays nicely. Its mainly the left collar, its like bent outward a little and I cant get it to sit. Could it be ironed?

For the shirt collar is was just a matter of tightening the tie. That's all I did. But for the jacket collar, I recently put a paper clip underneath it so it could look and lack more natural.

Yeah thats what I did too. I tightened the tie as tight as it would go but the damn collar still protrudes outward. Its so damn frustrating. I did put a paper clip under the jacket collar and it does help.

I'm really diggin' your work on TF Gippeto.

Although I have done some ironing at this scale, that little collar would be hard to do. For collars I use the water trick.

Just dab some water on the fabric you want to futz and get it where you want it. Then blow dry it in the place you like. It should hold the crease or fold just fine then.

Maglor, you and Neo are seriously my favorite photographers on here. Awesome pics!

(Didn't I sell you that one a while ago?)

Wow man, I don't know what to say. Neo is my favorite photographer here as well, so maybe there are some similarities. But seriously, he's way out of my league. I'm just using a point and shoot with a tripod. Perhaps someday if I get a DSLR I'll be able to compete with the big boys. :)

Was that you? I honestly don't remember who I bought it from. Does that price sound about right? $65 or $69 or something?

Great deal. The figure has some issues, but for the price I couldn't be happier. And I love owning Seb's work. :)

Wow -- WITH the Seb paint!? NICE!

Yep. Seb painted both the head and the jacket.

But he came only with what you see. One set of hands, and no box. But it has the coin and the gun. It's not the Hot Toys suit, and the suit Seb used has pants that are tailored really weird. The waist is ridiculously high. But if I keep the jacket lapels close together (there are no buttons on the suit) and futz the tie right, you can't tell. That's my only real complaint about the figure.

The shoulders were way to wide but that's Hot Toys' fault, and I fixed that with my dremel. :)

And Portishead rocks! I can't believe you have that. Didn't think anyone else ever noticed them.

:rock

Portishead is in my top 3 favorite bands of all time. And I'm a little in love with Beth Gibbons.

My wife and I just saw Portishead in Seattle this past Sunday. We were 3 people back from the rail... like my sig says: Best. Show. Ever.

I had full body goosebumps at least 3 times despite the fact that up front there it was muggy and hot. If you get a chance to see them live, jump at it.

Sorry for the off topic pic, but I gotta share one I snapped at the show:
