If someone can make a control crystal for this figure you have a buyer!

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

The closest the arm can get to the body is about 30 degrees. I hope ht releases this body type as a regular. Best body proportions I've seen.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Hi guys,
This is my first post on the board. I stopped HT collecting for a while, but just got the Superman figure. Couldn't be more happier :) he looks absolutely fantastic in person, and just renewed my interest in 1/6 figs. Just wanted to share some these pics.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Thanks! I'm trying to gauge some interest, thinking about doing a limited run of maybe 25 or 30.

I'm definately interested depending on price. That looks fantastic.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Anyway to drill a hole in the "S" symbol for the clear pole to fit in?

That wouldn't be a problem, although not where I was headed with this particular idea. The pieces i made are too small for what I think you are asking for. heres a picture next to a dime for size comparison:

PM me though and we can maybe figure out something like what you're talking about, could be pretty cool!

Would definitely be interested in hearing more about a custom base. I'm not a fan of the crystal base, but I like the idea of flight poses.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Hi everybody....I'm new here.
I'm Looking foward to this figure. However, i hope that somewhere down the road Hot Toys can also release the Prototype head as a stand alone (i notice on ebay they have the costume, boots and the head for sale individually). This will be my first Hot Toys action figure,....Can anyone tell me if the arms can sit straight along the side of his body?

Why the proto head? :huh

At this point just to have a variety. I mean i'm a Superhero Action figure Customizer for the 1/9 scale, and i have various heads on my Superman figures...Some depict Chris Reeve others depict various comic book artist versions. Variety is the spice of life....so they say. :lol

Man, the proto looks awful now! I was excited about it based on that, and if they hadn't revised it I would've still been happy, but the revised sculpt completely blows it away!

I'm struggling with my display options. I need a horizontal Detolf so I don't have to pick who goes on top.

Elvis says he uses Acetone, but lightly and quickly. Don't leave it on long, it will eat the rubber.
