Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

That has to be the Mattel Zod right. You know I can't believe Mattel did a great Hackman and Terence Stamp (Zod) sculpt but for reeves they gave us this!

Thank god HT made this

Whoever approved the Mattel Superman Reeve sculpt is an 1D10T.. They would have sold twice as many if the sculpt was as good as Terrence Stamps likeness was.

Looks like somebody was a little to happy to be next to Bats, I guess, judging from the stain on the tights :dunno

I ask Sideshow for a pack-out for my Superman Ex and the shipping cost jumps from 33$ to 70$,can this be right?Just for an extra shipping box, cardboard is not THAT heavy.

Post office charges by the size and weight when boxes get too big (Oversize). Superman come in a pretty big box already, so to put it in another box that allows room for packing material is going to be huge.

It's not just weight, it's the size too. Shippers charge by "dimensional weight" now, especially for overseas.

Still seems a bit steep, though.

Yeah i can understand that, but over double the price difference? The size of the box wouldn't be THAT much bigger, judging by what ive seen before they don't leave space between the original box and the extra shipper to put in bubblewrap, papers or whatever they could use for protection, just another cardboard box tight on the original box unless im completely wrong here?

Don't know what Sideshow does, never requested a pack out. But when I order from Alter Ego, there's room for packing material all the way around and top and bottom.

I will ask sideshow about it,never requested a pack-out either as i never order HT figures from sideshow,Superman was an exception because of the exclusive.

It's one of the largest boxes I've ever seen for an action figure, maybe it just went through some cut-off point after which it suddenly jumps in price.

As with everything when it comes to Superman I'm sure Batman would have had kryptonite on hand to subdue the power of Superman's eja- oh dear oh dear...:slap

I hope Bats 89 comes with a Kryptonite Dental Dam :monkey1

There's not a huge difference if you ask me when they have the hooded heads on. Tbh i prefer the older version suit it looks blacker and shinier.

These batman are a bit bloated and much more chunkier than the DX..
