Yeah.

Buy it if you want it as a figure to enjoy on your shelf, not to invest!

While I'll admit I wholly enjoy watching the value in my collectibles go up, at the end of the day, whether it's a cheap $8 toy from TRU or a $2k+ prop replica, I buy it because I want it. Otherwise, I'd go mad seeing things drop in value after buying them. :lol

Oh that doesn't apply to me. Just a general statement. I gotta really really want one of these things to pay that kind of cash for a proverbial dust magnet.

Or go mad watching other people's collectibles go up in value after missing the chance to get it. I picked the wrong time for the hobby in regards to Cap PF, Iron Man PF, Hulk PF and Dr. Doom PF.

Sorry new to batman figures. What should I be looking for to make sure its not damaged?

The ankles are loose but I dont know if thats normal.

If its broken will the boot fall off?

Excuse me for not reviewing all 1178 posts but I would think one of two things with the boot sockets.

Tooled too small for the ball joint so when assembled it is causing a stress break or the lubricant for the rubber suit and boots is weakening the plastic making it brittle.

Just my 2 cents.

My money's on an absent minded factory worker really jammed the boots on too hard during production. The plastic for the sockets is more brittle than the barbell.

I got mine on Monday and then checked it out last night after seeing all these problems. I have the shiny head but only in streaks across the head. the right foot fell off while I was unpacking but it wasn't broken and stays on fine. the cap took forever to put on like everyone has said and there are no dents on the side that I could see.

I am happy with him but I will be more happy once I get a custom cape.

So my total damage is:

- Paint rub on shoulder (from me and VERY small)
- Rub marks on both the Batman cowl and Wayne sculpt.

I have to admit, my OC Bats came with more damage than this. I'd say HT's should look into switching assembly plants, the damaged boots are clearly the result of poor handling. Or rough handling by workers.

I very much doubt that. My money is on the plastic itself being brittle or some design flaw.

Mine has the deformed suit...it is shifted to the right side and you can easily tell when the Bale head is on. The neck are has way too much space showing on the right...like it but will exchange it.
