The new Starscream looks good, but its very underwhelming.

well this pic has basically shyed me away from the Striker Prime. It definitely has more accurate flames, but there doesn't appear to be any metallic paint, just the regular grey plastic. If it came with those swords (which is doesn't unfortunately), I may have kept my PO, but I'm not going to spend over $100 for some accurate flames and a gun.

I dont think thats striker prime dude, i think they just used the jetwings prime mold to show off the new swords since he has the DOTM abs.

Believe it is Striker Prime since it has the DOTM Gun. Unless Jetwing Prime came with the new DOTM gun as well. Plus the accurate flames are a give away. As far as I knew, Jetwing Prime had the regular factory non accurate flames

Meh, I think I'll just end up getting iGear's if I feel the need for a new Starscream figure (and I'm not sure I do yet).

We'll see how iGear's Thundercracker looks with my Hasbro Starscream and Skywarp. They might look alright together, despite the hip kibble (which is only a minor annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless).

I'm not going to wait around for Hasbro.

Hmmm Screamer looks pretty good...plastic cape aside but I already have the Walmart Hasbro version so I won't be double dipping.

I just wish they'd get something different out instead of endless re-makes & re-colours.
I'd love another Dinobot, Soundwave (obviously ) or even an Autobot car like Prowl

Oh well I can only hope Fans Project & iGear do what Hastak really don't look like they will

On one hand, it's annoying that they're releasing a remolded toy in the MP line of a character they already did. On the other, that right there is the MP Starscream I wanted, ever since the first prototype pics for it first showed up. I was disappointed with Kawamori's changes, so to get a chance to own this after all is welcomed. I especially dig the remolded head, looks a lot better than what the first version had! And he's a shade of grey, rather than white! Maybe I'll bite for this one after all. I only have Greenscream, and this looks like the perfect replacement.

I think they're making a huge mistake by not releasing this at a lower price point, though. It should be closer to $130. Still more expensive then iGear's, but the new stuff looks like it's worth the extra $30.

Holy balls that is sexy! Such a massive improvement, and just goes to show you cant beat a good official MP! This puts those KO's to shame!
Shame i have the original, which i cant sell to pay for this since it was a xmas gift and i dont sell my gifted TF's.
