Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

People seem to NEED to find something, ANYthing to whine about. This board is turning into the freaking Spawn boards for christsake.
:gah:

And I have no problem saying that they can put their side-by-side comparisons right up there next to the coal. :lecture

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Not to mention turning coal into diamonds. :monkey1

My favorite (no offense cuz alot of people I get along with here are guilty of this) is the constant nitpicking and inevitable purchase of the same item(s)

I would never support something I don't truly appreciate. If a company neglects that same company should also be boycotted for inaccuracies too. It's the only way they'll learn.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Elbows look too bony....pre order cancelled. :)

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I don´t understand why Hot toys upload those old pics. The same thing is happening with the pics of Indy.

To me they are playing the dismissal and not want to show the final product clearly. Did they want to surprise us? :dunno

They only care now about our money. That is it. Otherwise they´ll be doing better figures. Superman and Indy are the proof of this. I made my choice, I´m not buying this two and my orders are cancelled. One less is not much, but is one less.

I'm glad I've never had the fanaticism to get my ass chafed over flawless accuracy because there would have been a lot of great figures I would have either missed out on, or ended up owning and eternally pissing about.

And yeah, the latter is funny as hell. :rotfl

Boots are too shiny, the head-sculpt looks Asian or a little bit like Tom Cruise, logo does not meet the expectations of a custom project, 5.3 x 3.5 CM, Kryptonite necklace is not made of real Kryptonite. :lecture

:horror WTF?! CANCELLED! :lecture:lecture:lecture:exactly::mad:

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

They went with the decal because its much faster to produce. Imagine how much longer it would take for them to stitch all those logos. Anyways i dont like the decal look, but hey im still going to buy the figure. Theres probably someone thats going to make custom ones in the future (Autobot john )

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

For those of you who can't see the difference between the Hot Toys chest logo and the actual logo used on Chris Reeve's costume - you need to get your damn eyes tested.

How can an idealised logo be better if they truly want to give us the best and most accurate CHRIS REEVE Superman???
This logic makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever so I'm out of here and will let you all argue about it and waste your time producing infantile Photoshop comedy pics for the next 800 pages.

FYI - I've got one of these figures on Pre-order and will only make my final decision about whether it's a keeper when I've seen it with my own eyes.

As a customer of this Hot Toys product, I have EVERY right to complain about things that should have been done better.

My damn eyes see just fine buddy. I can obviously see the differences you're pointing out, but HT's logo is still better because...well, it just looks better. As for your complaining, keep at it all you want, an Internet forum is exactly the place for that insignificant activity. There are kids dying of hunger every day everywhere in the world, probably even in your neighborhood, but if you want to complain about 12-inch dolls, please, go nuts!

This figure would've been well above $209 if the S had been hand-stitched. :lol

We should join forces and demand that Hot Toys issue a recall.

*runs off to start a petition thread for a recall by sideshow even though they have nothing to do with Hot Toys producing this outside of distribution*

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I just read somewhere that the Reeve family is thinking about taking legal action against Hot Toys for this despicable act of negligence. We should round up some HK freaks and straight up kill everyone over at HT's for this garbage.

Why does everyone in that picture look like they're having a good time? What kind of a riot is that? :slap This a movie scene practice or something?
