Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Agreed. I would wanna give those guys as much light as possible to correctly critique the part in my hair, stitching on my shirt, color of my shoe laces, etc.

"Karamazov! Compared to yesterday, your likeness for today is off by 5 percent! Even I can dress you better than you dress yourself. Just look at the pictures of this Karamazov custom project that I made in my garage with cheap materials..."

Is the alley 5.3 CM by 3.5 CM?

Oh man... just like in my recurring nightmare :monkey1.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Don't act all nitpicky just to fit in. It's not necessary.

:lol:rotfl:lol:rotfl:lol:rotfl:lol

The post that you're referring to, carried OCD to a completely new level. I wouldn't want to meet some of the folks in this thread in a dark alley way, that's for sure :monkey1.

I doubt they'll leave the confides of mommy's basement.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Thread is ____ing hilarious.

Toys = SERIOUS business.

Anyways, it's coming soon.

I hope this isn't a euphemism. . .

Arnie did say the HS was perfect...guess he wasn't lying

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

S looks perfect. Please don't screw it up with screen-accuracy HT.

Thanks. :wave

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Very confused by the latest batch of 'new pics'. Definitely the old sculpt again.

Old pics or HT have pulled due to no approval yet? :panic:

Where did you see a batch? The pic posted later was an old pic, as Maglor pointed out the Joker's pose, and the position of the stand are a dead giveaway

It's one of three pics that HTC added to their second set of figure pics from the ACG 2011 toy show posted 9 hours ago.

This was the second batch of pics further to their first set posted earlier which included the supposed tweaked sculpt.

If it is indeed an old pic it is confusing why it is included in the new pics?

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Either HTC is confused posting old pics as if they're new, or HT is messing about switching heads

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I don´t understand why Hot toys upload those old pics. The same thing is happening with the pics of Indy.

To me they are playing the dismissal and not want to show the final product clearly. Did they want to surprise us? :dunno

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

This is really strange. It's either a complete ____ you! to their fans or a build up for a fun reveal!
Knowing HT's PR of late it could go either way.
:panic:

?

Notice the Joker pose has changed as previously mentioned. Bottom two old pics then?

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

OK - wake up call. The simple fact is that YES, we DID manage to produce much more accurate looking chest logos for our projects.

My question about Hot Toys lack of ability to make this accurate is still very much valid despite the ridiculous "I like theirs better" comments that some of you are spouting out.

It's got nothing to do with being OCD. I've got eyes and I like to use them and when I do that - I can see that they totally dropped the ball on their idealized logo. It's not about measurements - it's just about the actual shape and design.

I challenge you to find a photo of Reeve wearing a costume which has a chest logo looking like that.

The chest logo is THE most important part of the Superman costume. It needs to be specific to whichever incarnation of the character has been chosen and the Hot Toys logo is clearly NOT the same as the logo incorporated into Chris Reeve's costume.

It's not rocket science kiddies. Try and keep up.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

To me, the S they are using on this figure looks closer to how it looked in Superman IV.

Thanks for the post, as I shut down my Facebook account a few days ago :lol. Well, from what I see, even Superman's pose seemed to have changed in the bottom pics.
