Thanks! I do have lots of behind the scenes shots, but I'm not sure Sideshow wants too many of those floating around. I think they prefer to have their products represented in the completed format mostly.

I have to admit, every time someone mentions HT doing SW figures, my heart skips a beat at the thought of a HT ROTJ Vader with Shaw sculpt. Man, if that don't get you going, you need to check your pulse says I.

See, that's exactly the kind of figure that I could care less about HT making. SSC rules at stuff like this.

Sounded like he was talking about behind the scenes from Sideshow's work on the figure not Lucasfilms Archives type stuff but i could be wrong.

The behind the scenes pics I'm refering to are the pics I take as I'm working on them. I usually send the best pics to Sideshow, but mostly they're on my computer.

As for official pics from the making of the movies, lots come from licensers, lots come from internet searches, some come from tracking down actual props and taking pics, and some are even the original CG renders from the effects companies when applicable. There are archives, but they aren't public.

I am too, but I'm kinda poor. I will buy an ESB and a ROTJ Darth Vader. I'd even get a ROTS Vader if they made the operating table and droids. But I'd rather pay SSC prices than HT prices. I don't think the difference in cost would be even close to equal to the difference in quality. If only HT made them, then I'd buy regardless of price (and happily), but if it came down to getting both SSC and HT, I'd much rather get a PF than a duplicate of a figure that will cost just as much.

Boba has the potential to be my Clone army, pardon the pun, I'm in for ESB, ROTJ, Holiday special, McQuarrie concepts (both of them!), ANH Special Edition.

I'm all in.

To be honest, outside of Vader I could well pass on the McQuarrie concepts altogether, assuming SS ever does them, which I think is likely.

To be honest, outside of Vader I could well pass on the McQuarrie concepts altogether, assuming SS ever does them, which I think is likely.

SSC confirmed around the 30th Anniversary of ANH that McQuarrie conceptuals were in the realm of possibilities. So I wouldn't count them out completely, I would on the other hand say that they probably are still a ways off.

Same here. Vader is a must. Everyone else is a no.

i've just preordered this Awesome (for more than a year i have wanted one but medicom did not lure me)

and my first star wars 1/6, clone trooper phase 1, is on its way.
