:lol Anyway... I've been working like crazy and watching what I eat, but I need sugar and fatty foods @ times! I get really cranky. :mad:
 
Thanks Ill try all that out! :) Also I do eat a lot of chicken and fish all the time, its the heavy weights I dont do... hmm maybe nows the time to join that neighborhood gym which Ive been planning to do for the last couple of years... never ended up joining as I always reasoned to myself Ill be tiring out myself even before I reach office for work (which drains everything by the time Im done with it at the end of the day :lol)

Also a friend had said to eat 2 boiled eggs a day without the yolk, I thought all the nutrition was in the yolk... how does that help?

the white parts are all protein, its safe to eat like 1-2 dozen of egg whites. Since 1 egg white is prolly only 4-5 grams of protein I think.
 
I ate too much dinner last night and the night before. It's been rough to see my hard work stomped on when I step on the scale. But it's also my fault, and the good news is that I know with a bit of effort, I can get back down. I enjoy working out 30 minutes a night of cardio and then a bit of weights. But it looks like I'll need to consume 700 calories and also burn over 400 at the gym if I plan to lose too much more. Which of course, I'm not insane and not willing to do. So I'll probably (as apposed to prolly) need to make up a new regimen and work a bit harder at the gym. Maybe add inclines, and such. Hoping I don't have to start that for another few lbs though.

It's hard to find the right info I'm looking for so I know one of you can help me out.

Let's say today I eat a cup of celery, some cucumbers, and some salad (no, that's not all I'll eat), and it ends up being 250 calories.

Then tomorrow I eat a cookie, and a donut, etc. And it ends up being 250 calories.

Will it show in weight that I changed what I ate because of fat grams? When I look at what I eat and I look at calories vs. fat grams. There's almost none in my fruits, veggies, etc. But if I look at cookies, etc, there's many more. So, when people say "I need 1200 calories today" but then they choose the cookie vs. the celery, does that change anything? So if I were to eat a weeks worth of fruits and veggies (yes I'd eat other things, too) vs. a weeks worth of burgers, cookies, breads, etc...will I notice a difference, even if the calorie content is the same, due to the fat grams?

Am I making sense here? Hopefully to someone I am.

BF-the general rule is cal in vs cal out. There are foods which cause bloating/water retention which might make you believe you are gaining weight or not losing. I use a keto based diet which is high fat low carb and carb up every one to two weeks-it works well for me but does not work for my wife(Saya). She eats her same type of foods but just at a deficit. I over eat when I have carbs as they are not as filling for me. Remember your body needs fat to survive. Any food you enjoy can be part of your new diet(by that I mean the way you live day to day and not 'diet'=trying to lose weight).
 
Well my mp3 player broke down, it won't charge but it still works, looks like I need to sell the Hot Toys Muscle in order to gain the muscle. Wish me luck :rock

I have decided to add Pilates to my workout. And wow. That's pretty much all I can say really.

I am ready to firm up and lose the fat inches that cardio wont get rid of. Lose lbs without weights = flab. So, time to fix that little issue.
 
So this is what happened this morning, granted I'm not a violent man and very seldom lose my cool. (Which in fact I didn't lose it btw :lol) So I get done with this mornings workout and I'm totally out of food at the house so what I normally do is stop by the grocery store and stock up.

Well I arrive to Dierbergs earlier than usually this morning and walk up to the door to find that they aren't opened yet. Well no biggie I figure I'd just wait in the truck a few minutes until they open, I was maybe 15 minutes early is all, I know they open at 6:00 a.m. Anyways a checker guy pulls up and he's a older man around 60+ years old or whatever. I stay in my truck for a few seconds to see if he opens the door and which he does with a key I guess, so I step out of my truck and proceed to walk up to the store. I guess he didn't have a key to the inner most part of the door to the store so he's in the mid section between the two automatic doors, etc... So I politely open the first set of doors and ask the dude, "Are you guys about to open?". He replies "We open at 6:00 a.m." in a nasty stern tone. So I say "Oooook...." and he's like "OK!". DAMNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!! :cuss that was it, I was on fire!!!! DUDE, I've been low carbing for about 45 days now and I'm living on fumes and I'm about twice as thick from ALL angles on your a$$!!!! Sorry for that.... but MAN I was heated.

I don't get it, why do people have to be this way. Regardless to make a long story short, I went back into my truck and just boiled! After the manager opened the automatic doors I went inside, the manager greeted me and my head was of been smoking because he was definitely panicing. He said, "Good morning sir" and I replied "How's it going?", "Pretty good, how bout you?" ......

......

......

......

"Ummmm, NOT so good right about now...." He kind of just left it at that as I walked off with my temples about to burst from the side of my head :lol

So I grab all my stuff and get to the old dude who is the checker and it's taking all but a very little pin drop to set me off. He's all kissing my ass and being very polite, I'm short with replies like "plastic...." , "I'll carry it", etc...

His last words, "Thank you sir and you have a wonderful day!!!!"

I guess you really had to be there with the guy with his tone, etc... I was actually having a great day until this incident even helped out my buddy which runs the desk at Gold's he has a sciatic nerve problem and they fired the lady that does the cleaning at night so he couldn't rack all the left over weights from the night before. I went ahead and racked all of them in between my sets so it was an amazing workout today!!! :) :) :)

Maybe I over reacted, very little gets to me but the one thing that does get to me is how you treat people and common curtesy. A "we will be open in just a few minutes" would of been dandy!
