Two of mine are just SDCC Han/Luke exclusives that I got cheap, sans heads. The other is the EX.

I'd imagine we'll see these released again at some point, hopefully they'll be a bit more like the Clones in terms of the armor.

Mine has been heavily modified to match Vader's true height and not an idealistic make believe height. He started out at 14 and 1/2 inches tall which would put him at 7 feet 3 inches. WAY TOO TALL! Prowse was 6 foot 3 inches. Add boots and helmet and he stands at a whopping 6 foot 7 inches which is the official Darth Vader height according to starwars.com. I removed the mid section completely and did not replace it with another. that brought him down 3/4 of an inch. Still not short enough. I modified the peg that connects the chest to the abs so it would now bridge the smaller gap between the two. It does not hinder articulation at all. I also took about a quarter inch off the thighs, which looked too long in the first place, and glued them back together. I then replaced the sideshow dome with a Hasbro and painted the chest armor segments silver for a more ROTJ look. He now stands at 13 and 1/2 inches tall but its close enough. I still have quite a bit I want to accomplish on this one but so far I think it's a vast improvement.

Thanks for noticing. I gave him a tan and turned his hair from green to brown. He might be pisses about that.

on ebay, about $100-$150 from what I've seen, but closer to $150. You get lucky if you get it for about $100. Some have even gone as high as $200+ especially for the exclusive version

STFU Flosi! You know SSC doesn't re-release ____! When they release another Stormtrooper they'll be the 'tarded looking low brow JEDI/Special Edition versions. Bleh!

man I wish those stormtroopers weren't so expensive now

totally missed out on those

I passed on them when BBTS had their 'warehouse' find 6 months or so ago - stormies for $80, what the heck was I thinking passing on these

But I was lucky enough to find one at the Toy Federation for $90. I ordered it and the remaining 4 went straight up to $130 the next day!? I can't believe SS don't have plans to do a re-run on these... there must be heaps of collectors still wanting to get these, either just the one or two or to build an army of them. Surely a new Vader would have to have them thinking hard about it...

This is a good vader from SS. But then again, I'm hoping HT/SS revisits this soon. I don't want to go back to buying expensive figs only to do tiresome and scary mods

well in an "Ask Sideshow" from awhile ago, they said something along the lines of having a deluxe ESB/ROTJ Vader and possibly see him by the end of this year.

My guess is we'll get a preview during the 12 Days of Sideshow if anything

The ESB version wouldn't be much thing to change so I can see SS making them. ROTJ has a few more differences so that should be a partial new sculpt

Oh, I know but it would justify re-releasing the Stormtrooper even if it were the changes would be ever so subtle.
