I am very proud of this figure. I've had dozens of offers to sell (with a very good price), but call me stupid for not biting...
this is my first real custom project and making of this figure has been a valuable learning experience. This figure is truly the gem of my collection. It has a lot of sentimental value... the kind-of that cannot be priced...

it's been a while, but now I'm back in action with a new non-Arnie related custom bash. so, I guess it would be time to update the thread title again?
although non related to Arnold, this franchise still has an ever-so-slight connection to his name...
jacket test (had this old thing lying around and used it as a starting point):
I think it worked out okay. updates to follow... though I'm a bit sceptic about the headsculpt, I'm hoping everything will work out for the best.
oh, and don't mind the stand-in figure in the pics... it's irrelevant.

I agree! I am going to use the "recipe" to make my own custom John Matrix from Commando! Awesome work! Ever thought of making a custom Arnold as Conan The Barbarian?

thanx guys. the figure (mostly accessories) has gone through a lot of small "improvements" after those pics were taken and I really should submit updated pics... maybe later.

off topic, but hey... it's my topic ain't it?
was paging through a couple of Drew Struzan books and suddenly got inspired to draw. just testing out my drawing tablet really, but I have a good feeling about this. though Struzan inspired it's starting to have more of a Tyler Stout vibe to it. I'm getting a little ahead of myself, but I'm imagining a Mondo/Stout style poster on my wall... hmmm.
anyways just thought I'd share.
