the workers that they had back then that painted well, must have jumped ship, and now work for hot toys.

Aren't they painted by machine? If so maybe the machines use are turned up to make up for higher wages or what not and being faster may slop up the apps... or maybe the machines are now older and are not properly maintained? Possibly both things?

Um... they're painted by people. A lot of people. People for which the only motivation is wage. Sadly, if you're putting out a $15 figure that needs to sell to justify its production, the wages can't be too high. Where's the profit in that?

The inaccurate Hot Toys Berserker is definately NOT more badass looking.

He looks like the regular Berserker's "special" cousin.

yeah saying the poorly sculpted figure is better than the movie prop is just another passive-aggressive way to bash the movie some more. it's been going on for a while here.

LOL, I was waiting for this. Funny how some fan justify BS right? I own the Berserker and love it but if I loved the thing in the movie I'd be pissed over the head.

Can't wait to get the Predator series. I have Series 1 and 2 coming in the mail. I've also preordered Series 3.

I'm not too worried about paint apps as it doesn't really bother me. Hell, I bought the Tall Man from NECA and the paint apps on that are beyond godawful and I still love the figure.

I just love series three the pred "classic" has the same translucency as the 1/4...and I think the elder is awesome!

Just got my elder pred today from CSC. He looks great!!!! I love the accesories it comes with too and the packaging looks cool!

The only gripe I have is I want to keep this packaged...but the cardboard backing at the bottom is longer than the molded plastic.

So basically, you cant stand it up in the package without bending the cardboard or the package falling over...

Other than that, it's AWESOME!!!! Bring on the rest of the Lost Hunters!

I picked up two Elders and a masked P1 today at TRU. The one closest to me didn't have them but I drove about an hour and a half away for another event (to northern CT) and they had them. The paint aps on the Elder look a lot nicer in person than when blown up in the photos. I'm satisfied!

Um, impatience wasn't the cause of my P1's arm snapping off and I don't think I could be consider a "hater" in this forum if you are partially referring to me.

Um, impatience wasn't the cause of my P1's arm snapping off and I don't think I could be consider a "hater" in this forum if you are partially referring to me.

if you monkeyed around with the joints right after removing it from the package, then impatience was a major contributing factor to the breakage. mine didn't break because i heated them up and reassembled them before posing.

and i didn't say you're a hater, i said a couple people complained about the arms breaking. which is true. in fact, i questioned the presence of haters. you gotta keep up a little better, guy.
