Difficult to tell how plain he is. I think the flash is washing out a lot of detail.

Sorry for the quality guys, I took these pics with my iphone cause my digital camera is broken :-(

First of all let me say this is a great piece! it is rather simple but then again part 3 was the most simple Jason in my opinion. I honestly and truly feel this piece works best without the "exclusive" accessories, I dont see what all the rage is about the exclusive (unless you ONLY just wanna flip, which in that case whatever to you) if you truly love collecting like I do then the regular version works GREAT! When I opened the box everything was scattered, the statue is only the body without the heads and without the accessories, those are all packed separately so you can play with whatever look you want. Again, just my opinion BUT the unmasked head is a great sculpt and paint job, but the head looks like the guy on the original The Hills Have Eyes ... I say there is no need to be devastated about not getting the exclusive, the regular version really is the best pose and the best face so i would totally jump on that while you can! Just my two cents ..

Honestly you guys, the regular edition is perfect, the masked head holding the ax is the best way to display him, the other mask-less head just doesn't do it for me, nobody would get who it is without the mask aside from true die-hard fans. The masked face holding the ax is a PERFECT PF and does justice to the film and the entire genre for that matter. Don't take my word for it though, check it out for yourselves when other members start posting better quality pics than mine and judge for yourselves. The original non-exclusive PF is the still a very very strong piece in and of itself!
